Check in process was simple - met wardens by the barrier on arrival and was given our paperwork and code for the barrier. Told to pick whatever pitch we wanted in the field which was a bonus!
Pitches were a good distance apart with access to water all around the field we even had a picnic bench to use.

The facilities were very clean and within a good distance.
The games area went down a treat with the kids
The location was perfect, around 10 minutes into Caernarfon one way and 20/25 mins to Llanberis the other.

There is a busy road either side of the campsite but you can only hear heavy traffic now and again. It didn't bother us but might put other people off.

Me and my 8 year old (on the second week of his half term) had a friendly welcome from the warden on our arrival and were given a map directing us to our camping field and pitch. Our pitch allowed us to set the tent up more or less level. The electric hook-up was easy to connect and there were numerous water points nearby.
The facilities were immaculate, the best I've seen out a campsite and better than some hotels I've stayed in!
The games barn was a major attraction to my son and had table football, pool table, table tennis, Skittles and connect 4. Equipment was all in v.good condition, and some of the table tennis bats were brand new!
We were so lucky during our stay to have wall to wall sunshine and there is plenty to do in the local area. We went to the beach at Dinas Dinlle, cycling in Beddgelert Forest and further afield to Criccieth & Porthmadog on other days.
A great campsite which I would strongly recomnend!

We visited at a quiet time but I expect during main school holidays there will be high demand on the facilities such as showers, dish-washing & ice pack freezing at certain times. Perhaps a couple of extra showers would be reasonable for the size of the site?

Lovely clean site with big camping spaces. Staff were lovely and helpful. nice separate dog walking area and clean toilets. Great spot to explore the local area from.

The open fields, how clean the site was and how well kept. The showers and toilets were immaculate. Friendly staff and other guests.
So close to town centre with shops pubs and places to eat. Gorgeous weekend away thoroughly enjoyed it and will be returned asap.

Large pitches, beautifully landscaped site, lovely dog walking trail, clean, modern toilets and showers. The site was quiet and family friendly and very close to facilities at Caernarfon.

The main toilet and shower block was too far from the tent pitches so be prepared to carry your bowl of washing up for a good five mins to get to the block! Definitely need more facilities closer to the tent pitches.

Booked late and arrived within 3 hours of booking still welcomed with our own booking documents and map. Very clean and friendly the field was quiet and well maintained even appreciated the warden driving around to check everyone around 9.

All facilities were great and we will be returning.

The female warden/manager is very ill mannered.
Two members of our party said she was rude to them when they arrived, they felt un necessarily so.
I have an electric vehicle and I had plugged it in on the 2.3kw charger I have and use at home and was asked to unplug it, which is absolutely not a problem for me and as soon as I was made aware I apologised and I unplugged it straight away. The problem is with the manner in which I was asked, it was so rude and un necessary.
I’d like to make it clear I don’t have a problem with not being able to charge my car at the pitch as the site EV charger was broken, I absolutely have a problem with the manner in which I was spoken to. I had young children present who I would never confront somebody in front of, especially somebody who had this tone with us to start with. After a long drive it wasn’t a very pleasant experience.
We were respectful and polite in return and did as we were asked to do.
This is the first time I have ever left a negative comment on any camp site, it is not something I would do lightly as I always find lots of positives on any site we have been to, but I felt the attitude of this lady was really letting the site down and is the reason we won’t return, which feels a real shame. She is aggressive in her tone and not at all welcoming or accomodating.

The facilities were immaculately clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site was well maintained and had everything you need. The pitches are spacious, level and well planned out, plus they are easy to find on the map. Felt safe at all times and the weather was fantastic. Recycling bins, a lot of sites don’t recycle!

Maybe a couple more picnic benches, there was only 2 in the field we were in.
