My children and I have had a great couple of days camping at Mayfield Park this week. The site is tidy and well maintained. It was surprisingly quiet for the first week of the school summer holidays but we quite liked that. We pitched our tent at the top of the field, which was flat and offered some lovely views. The toilet and shower block was always very clean and every time we used it. My children loved running back and forth to the play area where they were happy just kicking a ball around or playing frisbee. The lady we met on arrival was very friendly and helpful - we didn't really have any other interactions with staff during our stay.

It's a bit of a trek up and down to the toilet but we were out and about most of the time so didn't really mind. If you are a light sleeper, you might struggle with the traffic noise from the nearby A419, which goes through the night pretty much, but we didn't find this affected our sleep or our experience.

Lovely clean site, nice sized pitches, friendly staff, dog friendly.

Near the main road with cars travelling past all night was a bit noisy there. Probably won’t go back for this reason only.

Clean facilities and i liked that we could use the washer/dryer if needed. Good location for the royal international air tattoo though and seemed to be under the flight path of them when they were leaving raf fairford.

Sloping pitch. Quite far away from the facilities. Having to park on grass which made it even worse because it was raining all weekend. Had to pay extra when we got there because apparently pitchup undercharged us. 3rd day in and had a big family tent pitch up right next to us (even though there was other spots that wasnt as close that was available) and the children kept coming over to our tent and trying to look in it, when we caught them they didnt apologise either and after that didnt feel very secure or safe with having them right next to us.

Good location for visiting Cotswolds

A very pleasant stay just for one night to break the journey. Would stay if passing. Brilliant dog area all fenced off. You can let your dog if lead and not worry. Shower block clean and warm. Some traffic noise from nearby dual carriage but that subside towards evening and in the night.

Lovely site. Spotless toilet/ showers/pot wash. Great laundry. Busy over the weekend, but not crowded. Weekdays, peaceful!
