Cleanliness of the facilities, how well kept the grounds were and having dog friendly spaces.

Proximity to the motorway was a little loud at night but this cannot be helped and Mayfield sites have hedges that act as barriers to the noise.

The grounds were very well kept, showers, toilets ect, very clean and checked regularly. The owners/workers all very polite and approachable. Exactly how a holiday park should be. Cirencester very close , had and excellent day there. In conclusion… outstanding!!!

Absolutely lovely site and wonderful owners who really made a fuss and clearly wished to make everyone’s stay great.

Good features, including a dog run (need more chicken wire to secure it) lots of space, the fact that the dirt is wonderfully maintained, and lovely resting areas.

We were extremely unfortunate in arriving on a night when a neighbouring campsite had very clearly got some kind of all night rave planned. If the owners at Mayfield weren’t aware this was to take place, I understand that this is simply a misfortune. If, however, the owners knew and we were left uninformed, then I think this bad form. Literally the rave- with the loudest thumping music that reverberates through the brain- lasted ALL NIGHT from before midnight until mid morning! We left at ten am and it was still going on then. It was utterly horrendous, and, hopefully for Mayfield, a one-off. Obviously we- and I expect the whole campsite- got literally NO sleep at all.

This may just be an unfortunate blip, as the campsite is lovely and I would have recommended it. If not, the campsite are going to have real problems :(

The site was well-kept, the grass tidy and the pitch was fairly level. The owners were helpful and took on board our observation of cold water in the men’s shower on one morning.

The constant hum of the nearby dual carriageway but not noticeable while inside the motorhome. This of course is nobody’s fault.
