Very peaceful site beautiful riverside scenery

This site is enormous mainly static homes with about 16 pitches for motor homes or caravans the views are amazing shower block and toilets were warm and clean the on site bakery is a must the sausage rolls and flapjack were lovely.

Not really a dislike but the site could do with a tidy up you could just see the outline for the gravel pitches a bit more gravel would work great be sure to take something to collect water in as the fresh water tap is not on your hook up point like some are also the traffic noise from the m6.No Wi-Fi.

Due to a sudden bereavement in our family a few weeks before our booking we were obviously unable to travel to the park as we had a funeral to organise and attend etc...
We contacted the park in advance of our booking to make them aware and simply requested to move our booking to a more convenient time.
They flatly refused, stating that as their terms state (small print), we couldn't move the booking and they would not refund.
I made numerous calls try and reason with them due to the mitigating circumstances but all to no avail.
I was told a Manager named "Choni" was the only person that could authorise the booking being amended but she didn't have the decency to even call me back!
By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Very friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely quiet site no loud music. Nice toilet block with warm showers.

Staff were great fireworks and bonfire good lovely surroundings clean facility’s

Kids playing football and hitting our motorhome with the ball noisy campers till gone midnight and overly priced chilli and hotdogs at the bonfire

It's a little dated, but a nice place to stay.
