Dog friendly bakery / shop serving all sorts of breakfast butties and tasty treats .
Lovely helpful person in the shop/bakery

Woodland walk to the castle
Highland cow’s in a nearby field

Lots of trees on site
Hot clean showers , and baths
Very near to Penrith town centre by car
Don’t have to leave until 12 midday

The pub on site does not serve food anymore
The shop / bakery can be low on supplies like poo bags
Occ large aircraft overhead swooping nearby can be startling for adults , children and dogs
Can hear the moterway traffic
After requesting a pitch near to toilets the block I was nearest too was closed most of weekend .

Liked: A very good site, close enough to a lot of wonderful places and very easy to travel to and from. Even booked an extra night stay to ensure we could do as much as possible and no issues at all with our stay! Will definitely be recommending this site to our friends.

Disliked: Two site maps were provided. One showed the entire site and was both accurate and easy to understand. The other one showed a smaller area and was intended for tourer users. The latter map is hopelessly confusing and is unnecessary because the required information is on the larger map. I recommend using the larger map only.
