Liked: Lovely clean, well maintained site. Hard standing pitches, very large with beautiful views. Clean facilities, friendly check in.
Disliked: Near a very busy road that never sleeps so have that noise constantly, but did sleep very well so guess you get to ignore it.

Liked: Has everything you need rural walks, beach lovely friendly village great pub. Very friendly site coffee and food on your doorstep.highland cows, goats pigs chickens and the local dragon is a must see.

Liked: Very friendly campsite with a bar and lots of farm animals. The beach is just a short walk away and endless possibilities if you feel energetic. May, the owner and his wife are very welcoming. All in all a great place to stay!

Liked: Facilities were nice and clean, great to have a bar/bistro on site. Owners were really friendly, and close to a train line so very easy to get around.
Disliked: Not a problem but just to know in advance that showers are 20p per minute so need to bring change

Disliked: Boggy field - we were given choice of several low pitches. We did have a terrific amount of rain. The drainage of the pitches needs attention. For the price of the site everything looked a bit shabby and untidy. Also had to pay to shower. Poor bus service (as informed by site owner) and non operating trains. Not the sites fault but I wish we had known before.

Re: trains and buses; Barmouth bridge is currently going under repair hence no trains running. Buses do pass llwyngwril, earliest being 8-9am, with the last one being around 3pm . Sorry to hear your experience wasn’t a positive one.
