It might be a tad tongue in cheek for Missouri city Branson to have been nicknamed 'live music capital of the entire universe' by telly show 60 Minutes, but for a small city there's surely a lot of glitzy night-time stuff happening all around. Stay at Willow Tree RV Park to be within walking distance of the Branson entertainment area: as well as several theatres for country music and all sorts of shows (the likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Lynyrd Skynyrd have staggered around stages here), you'll also be close to all manner of Branson attractions including museums, waxworks, theme parks and outdoor activities around Ozark Mountain and Bull Shoals Lake. Tickets for all local attractions at available at reception. Willow Tree is a friendly and welcoming park in the Branson borders, family oriented and with a warm and outgoing atmosphere. Guests have access to the park's pool, open from June to August, for swimming and sunbathing; shaded picnic areas are dotted around the park as well. A cinema and several family restaurants like Taco Bell, Red Lobster and the Golden Corral are within walking distance.

Local attractions

The Willow Tree RV Park crew reckons you could stick around all summer with the pile of pursuits available in Branson and the surrounding area, like shows, attractions, museums and the splendid surroundings for outdoor activities. There'll be several somethings on in town no matter what time of the year you're here, but Branson has six festivals throughout the year too, starting off with the music, world food and entertainment of World-Fest in April and early May, and including the Bluegrass and BBQ festival, and the National Harvest and Cowboy Festival, with 125 or so American artists and craftsmen. Family days out are sorted in town at the likes of the Branson Dinosaur Museum, the Titanic Museum (with the biggest Titanic replica in the world), Ripley's Believe It Or Not, and the Hollywood Wax Museum Branson. Theme parks Silver Dollar City and White Water are both within a short drive. Also in the area, have a look around Hollister, the small city with several refurbished businesses and an autumnal Grape and Fall Festival.
