Disliked: The noise and discomfort. The tent pitches were gravel which meant lots of dust and plenty of broken tent pegs and painful knees when moving around in the tent. The plots were very close together. Worst of all was the noise. It was maddening. Screeching and screaming children constantly into the early hours of the morning, throw in barking dogs set off by fireworks from the nearby town and what sounded like people dying from chest infections coughing up their guts and it was a wholly unpleasant time with little to no sleep. The restaurant is pretty barebones and food quality was entirely mediocre.

From the manager: Good morning, thanks for your comment. We value your experience in order to improve our establishment. Regarding noise, we cannot manage the voice of children while playing, since it is a family campsite, and therefore there are children, who shout and who live their childhood playing. We have two areas, one very quiet, and another where most of the children of the campsite are surely and therefore their voices are heard. We inform you that the restaurant is not ours, so we recommend that you send your opinion about the food to the owners of the bar-restaurant, since we can not do anything about it. Liked: Site was located very close to a river c/w a cycle path alongside it. Refreshing to swim in the cool water in the afternoon.

Disliked: Pitch was not really a pitch as such, more an area of open camping with a few electrical sockets and no water supply other than a remote tap (not possible to connect a hose to it.) There is no guarantee you will be able to get a socket if you want one. Site is close to a busy road so road noise 24 hrs a day. No functional wifi despite being advertised Campsite shop extremely basic. No safe walk / path between the site and nearby town unless you take a very roundabout route
