Eurocamping

Eurocamping's nearest beach is the clean and award-winning one at Sant Antoni, a wide arc of a couple of kilometres attached to the seaside resort of Sant Antoni de Calonge: the promenade here is where you'll find most of the resort restaurants and nightlife after a hard day's sunbathing on the sands. The site is also close to the shops, bars, restaurants and watersports of the seaside resort of Platja d'Aro, part of the coastal town of Castell-Platja d'Aro made up of Platja d'Aro and the medieval village of Castell d'Aro (you'll see how it all works when you get there). You should also certainly have a look at Pals, the topping Gothic town set high up on a hill, and Palamos, the biggest fishing port in Girona and home to a fishing museum, splendidly busy harbour and windsurfing and swimming in its large bay. Ceramics connoisseurs will have a smashing time pottering around the Terracotta Museum and many shops of Spanish pottery capital La Bisbal d'Empordà. For a most relaxed day out, hop around or scuba dive from the seven small islands of the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park or wander around Costa Brava fishing villages like Calas de Palafrugell Calella and Llafranc i Tamariu; for a most unrelaxed and adrenalised day out, take the crew along to the waterslides and fast rivers of the huge Playa De Aro aquapark Aquadiver.
