Catalonian town or Catalonian countryside? How clever it would be to have both at Càmping Santa Eugènia Park in Catalonia's Barcelona region, in a quiet residential area but close to the town centre of Santa Eugenia de Berga and five kilometres from the old town centre, restaurants and small traditional restaurants of the Osona comarca.
The site is in a peaceful area surrounded by nature, in an area popular with outdoor sorts who come to explore the surrounding mountains, go hiking, or take to the slopes on mountain bikes. It's family friendly and has a play area with trampolines, a large seasonal pool and mini golf.
Amenities include modern toilet and shower blocks and disabled facilities. Catalonian eats are covered at the site bar/restaurant dishing up traditional meals and snacks, with much more of the same close by in town at Santa Eugenia de Berga.

Local attractions
A good chunk of Catalonian sights and attractions is within easy distance of the site, whether your tastes tend towards old villages, traditional cuisine, historic buildings, outdoor activities or wildlife watching.
After a wander around the local town, travel from Càmping Santa Eugènia Park to the comarca of Osona and its ancient capital of Vic, with its cathedral, medieval art museum, leather museum and markets. The city is 69km from Barcelona and 60 from Girona.
Also nearby, have a look at the Sant Pere de Casserres monastery, dating back to the eleventh century, and the Sau Reservoir, to see the submerged Church of Sant Romà when the tide is low.
Local villages well worth visiting include Rupit, Tavertet, Viladrau, Espinelves and Folgueroles, and if you're a nature spotter/wildlife watcher, you'll def enjoy a day or two wandering around the Montseny Nature Park.
