Have a try of Camping 3 Estrellas for a Spanish stay, set in a pine forest next to a beach with over 10km of coastal promenade – but only 12km from the ancient sights and more sands of Barcelona (there's excellent bus access into the city too). For days when you're not city sightseeing, Camping 3 Estrellas has laid on all you might need to stay put: swimming pools, a restaurant serving fresh local food, a supermarket with fresh and frozen produce plus souvenirs, and a five-a-side football pitch as well as courts for tennis, basketball and pétanque. (There's a volleyball court on the beach too.) Amenities are also well sorted, with modern loo and shower blocks with free hot water, and a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. Camping 3 Estrellas has high-speed wifi in all its facilities areas, and if you want to leave the laptop at home, computers with internet access are in the bar.

Great beachfront spot with direct beach access & sea views. Staff are friendly & helpful; the site's clean. Handy bus links to Barcelona are a bonus. Pitches are a good size, but some bathrooms are a bit tired & there's occasional plane noise. Many want to come back.

Liked We were a bit aprehensive regarding facilities as your details state that the restaurent closes 30/09 and the bar 30/10 and we had booked 27/10 til 03/11.It was a nice suprise to find that this was not the case. The site is now under a different name and everything, including the shop, were open up to our leaving., including freshly cooked pizzas. Lovely site, right on the beach. Our Neigbours used the bus to Barcelona every day which was handy if you wanted to visit there. Yes the showers were a bit dated, but the water was always hot. There is a lot of talk about the planes coming over as very near the airport. Yes, as first, they were a bit annoying, but you soon got used to them and the site was full, so they cant have been that much of a deterent.

Liked The access to the beach , warm but getting a bit tired shower blocks , good fresh pizza , made while you wait !
Clean tidy pitches ,

Disliked The airport is way too close , such a shame , they finish at 11.00 pm and restart at 7.00 am every three minutes
Very poor Wi-Fi

Disliked Fluglärm war je nach Windrichtung unerträglich.
Je nach Windrichtung lag ein ekelhafter Geruch in der Luft… Klärwerk?

Liked We were placed directly by the seaside….due to out early reservation. Perfect. Staff really helpful with medicine delivery and technical Moover Problem .

Disliked Especially during Morning Hours its really loud with the Airport very close - and Planes starting every 2 Minutes.

Liked Einfache Anbindung an Stadtmitte Barcelona mit dem Bus

Disliked Morgens ab 6:30 bis abends 22:30 sehr starke Störungen durch Fluglärm, der Platz liegt in der direkten Flugschneise das Flughafen. Startende und landende Flieger in vlt. 300 m Höhe.
Teilweise Geruchsbelästigung aus der Kanalsation

Liked L'emplacement vie directe sur la plage. Le personnel est accueillant, les sanitaires sont spacieux et propres. Le restaurant et le supermarché sont de qualités et abordables pour les prix

Disliked Le bruit des avions. Il est vrai que cela est précisé dans les avis précédents c'est très bruyant en journée...cependant comme nous allions visiter en journee c'est tres gerable et la nuit entre 23h et 6h les avions étaient silencieux :)
D'autre part le wifi l'est accessible qu'au niveau du restaurant c'est un peinture dérangeant

Route directions

From Barcelona, follow Ronda de Dalt (B20) in the direction of the airport. Take the C-31 in the direction of Castelldefels, exit at Gavà Mar (on the left along the beach with a viaduct over the C-31). Then take the third right-hand turning and follow the directions back to Barcelona to reach the site.

Camping 3 Estrellas has plenty of sights to see and things to do when not in Barcelona, like a children's farm and riding school offering lessons a kilometre from the site, and 10km of coastal promenade accessible from the beach next to the site: walk, jog or skate along here by day and go in the evening for dinner and drinks against a backdrop of Spanish sunset. Famed centre the Catalan Olympic Canal of Catalonia is just five minutes away, a highly popular spot for Spanish watersports like sailing, kitesurfing, canoeing and kayaking, and for land-based activities like cycling, archery and pitch and putt; many courses are available for all ages. Fancy neither land nor sea? Have a go at paragliding from here instead.
