Among a peaceful rural setting, Golf and Recreatiepark 't Caves is right on par: it has a friendly and laidback atmosphere as well as tiptop facilities and – even better if you enjoy a good game of golf – there’s a nine-hole course on site too. Even if you’re not that faffed about putting, this place is a still a cracking spot to pitch up: next to the site is a large woodland area for strolls with your dog, and if you fancy a slightly more challenging adventure, you can pull on your hiking gear and make for the spectacular sand dunes of the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park. For golf pros, all there is to do in the morning to swing yourself some greenside time is roll out of bed, stick your snazzy golf garb on and head a mere 50 metres to begin your round at the first hole. If you’re a novice or want to brush up on your skills, you can book in for a lesson or several with one of the site’s expert golf teachers. A restaurant with local cuisine is around for food and drink, along with a takeaway for fries and snacks only, sorts your on-site leisure time off the course or out of the neighbouring forest. The site also has a room with billiards, which is only available to those who can play billiards and who order food from the establishment.

  • Facilities/activities including golf course access and billiards are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.
  • The restaurant is open between 01/04 and 31/10.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
  • The bar is open between 01/04 and 31/10.
  • Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
  • The restaurant is open from 5pm to 8pm Thursday to Sunday.

Liked T‘Caves ist still gelegen umgeben von Feldern und Wäldern für den ein oder anderen Spaziergang in der Natur. Zum nahe gelegenen Supermarkt in Wintelre braucht man zu fuss nur 5min und mit dem Fahrrad ist im man in 30 min im Eindhoven. Der Campingplatz besitzt schöne Stellplätze, Bungalows und sogar kleine Ferienapartments. Der dazugehörige Golfplatz der den Campingplatz umgibt ist auch sehr schön und sah viel und gern besucht aus von den anderen Campinggästen.(Haben selbst nicht gespielt). Das Wlan reicht bis zum Stellplatz und hat eine super Verbindung. Das personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und die Speisen im eigen Restaurant sind sehr lecker ( das Schnitzel Caves ist sehr empfehlenswert). An der zufahrt ist außerdem ein großes Gehege mit Ziegen, Pfauen, Hühnern, Truthähnen, Hängebauchschweinen und Ponys die manchmal auch am Teich neben dem Übungsplatz zu finden sind. Wir waren sehr begeistert und möchten nächstes Jahr gerne wieder kommen.

Liked Nice well appointment campsite, great toilet blocks, nice touch that every toilet and shower unit had its own light and switch. Great bar and social barman, speaks English and Dutch, only one thing good not served on a Tuesday night, although barman was able prepare something from the snack menu

Disliked Only negative is campsite is quite close to Eindhoven airport and the regular take offs can be quite loud, but I don't know know if they stop at a certain time of night or if I just was so tired that I slept through them.

The planes take off at 7 a.m., and the last one is allowed to arrive at midnight. If the wind is blowing in our direction, you can hear it very well. Unfortunately, the airport arrived earlier than we did, and we can't put up a muffler.

Placed handily close to the village of Wintelre in the North Brabant province, the site is near the Netherlands' southern border, and several walking and cycling trails are 500 metres away around Bosschuur Lakes park. You can take a tour on foot or by bike along the Vincentre and Van Gogh routes around the artist's former village of Nuenen, 25 minutes’ drive from base, or visit the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park, for horse riding and more hiking and cycling options around western Europe’s biggest sand drift area. Eindhoven, 10 kilometres away, also has plenty of urban attractions to fill your itinerary with, including restaurants, bars, shops and parks. If you’re seeking a spot of culture, museums and galleries such as the contemporary and experimental art, installation and photography gallery; an open-air archaeological museum, and a museum dedicated to the history of automobiles. For kids there’s plenty around here too: take them for a day trip out to see furry critters at Beekse Bergen Safari Park, or whisk them off to the amusements of Efteling fairytale-themed amusement park, both within 45 minutes’ drive.
