Spectacular views, spectacular sands, peaceful lagoon bike rides, and motorboats to spectacular Venice… Miramare Camping Village is a simply spectacular site. Beach days, city sightseeing and island hopping are all accessible within a few minutes of this Veneto locale: it's opposite the harbour in Punta Sabbioni on the Cavallino-Treporti coastline, a short walk or shuttle ride to the port from where you can hail boats to trip along to many tiptop spots around the lido and city. Take the free shuttle bus in high season to reach Punta Sabbioni beach, part of a stunning 13-kilometre stretch of white sands on the edge of the peninsula. You can also hire bikes from the site to get around, perhaps cycling along the path next to the lagoon, where you can spot the likes of herons, cormorants and flamingoes… Miramare Camping Village is a mid-sized family site, with spectacular views over the lagoon towards the islands and city of Venice. A pool and paddling pool are around for watery days on site, alongside sporty options including volleyball and table tennis. For leisurely times when not out sightseeing, head over to the restaurant-pizzeria for eating in or taking away, or stock up at the mini market to sort your own eats at the barbecue area.

Great campsite, friendly staff, spacious shaded pitches & brilliant pool. Handy shuttle to beach & Venice ferry. Toilets/showers modern. Some found showers lacked shelves, evenings had mozzies, and pool rules were a bit strict.

Liked Locatie, slechts 10min te voet tot de waterbus. Ben je niet goed te been krijg je gast ook nog gratis bustickets!

Disliked Ook al wordt er elke vrijdag aan muggenbestrijding gedaan, Venetië en omstreken zall nooit vrij van muggen zijn. Hatelijke beesten!

Liked Kleinere, sehr ruhige Anlage. Unsere WC und Dusch- Anlage schien recht neu und sauber - in den Duschkabinen fehlen aber Möglichkeiten etwas abzulegen (Brille oder Tasche). Leute an der Rezeption sind immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, Bus fährt um halbstündigen Abstand zwischen Strand und Fähre hin und her

Disliked Durch die ruhige Lage hat man nur 1 Restaurant in unmittelbarer Gehweite und es gibt auch nur den kleinen Shop am Platz für das Nötigste

Liked Warm welcome, helpful staff, clean facilities, pool area, large pitches (premium) very peaceful, free bus to the bus/ferry station and beach. From start to finish our week long stay here was exceptional even with a few hiccups (electrics stopped working but was fixed within hours) we will definitely be back! Thank you 🫶

Local attractions

The huge beach of Punta Sabbioni, a couple of kilometres away, is rightly lauded around this part of Veneto for its spectacular setting and fine white sands. After a day or two there, time to hit the city: it's a couple of minutes' shuttle bus ride or about 15 minutes' walk to the port for boats to the centre of Venice, where you can – and should – see famed sights like St Marks Square and the Doge's Palace. If you're also here to shop, leather goods and Murano glass jewellery are the two main products of the stalls and shops around the Rialto Bridge – or you could take the ferry another five kilometres to reach either Murano and its glass items galore, or Burano, to shop for the best Venetian lace. The island of Torcello, with its archaeological sites including Devil’s Bridge and Attila’s Throne, is about an hour away via vaporetto. For watery days – for 'tis Venice after all – take the kids for a gleeful splash around the Aqualandia waterpark, 25 minutes away and reachable by car.
