Alleghe Resort

- A quiet site 500m from Alleghe lake, surrounded by ski resorts
- Popular area for summer and winter mountain sports
- Bar, takeaway, playground, bowling green and table tennis
Mountaineers, motorbike riders, ski slope fans and hikers… if you're looking for a peaceful place to access the lot, this is the site for you.
Alleghe Resort, two kilometres from the Italian Alpine village of Alleghe, is surrounded by ski resorts, climbing routes and mountain biking, cycling and hiking trails, with plenty of paths beginning at the site.
During the summer months Marmolada mountain's south face provides more than 100 climbing routes, and you can also take the cable car from Alleghe village up to Col dei Baldi to begin a scenic descent back down to Alleghe village – or stay up high and seek out the mountain huts and shelters around the centre.
The Marmolada is also popular with motorcyclists and cyclists, with scenic mountain passes to tour such as Fedaia, Campolongo, Falzarego, Giau, Duran, Valparola and San Pellegrino. In winter, ski the 12 kilometre-long La Bellunese trail on Marmolada mountain, go freeriding or visit the region's many ski resorts within easy reach.
A bar, takeaway, playground, kids' entertainment, bowling green, ping pong table and wifi throughout are all available at the resort; there are also modern washrooms with toilets and hot showers, and a launderette with washing machines, tumble dryers and iron.
A shop, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts are about half a kilometre away.

Local attractions
Take to the slopes up or down around this fab Italian skiing, climbing and touring region, climbing some of the 100+ south-facing routes of Marmolada in summer, taking its 12-kilometre La Bellunese trail snowily downwards in winter, or just touring the area's many mountain passes in all weathers by foot, pedal, motorbike or car.
Adrenaline seekers can up the ante even further from the ski slopes by tackling Monte Civetta, Alleghe's tallest peak up to a height of 3,220 metres, or have a hair-raising ride on the Zipline San Tomaso, swinging 160 metres eight kilometres away.
The main village in the Alta Badia ski resort, Corvara, can be reached in 35 kilometres, worth the drive if you're serious about your skiing for the Dolomiti Superski, the biggest ski carousel in the world. Other ski resorts within about the same distance include Canazei (34 kilometres), Moena (36 kilometres) and Cortina d'Ampezzo (39 kilometres).
Bolzano, the biggest city in Italy's South Tyrol province, is 80 kilometres away.
