What a swell lakeside site. Settled on the shore of Lago di Viverone, Campeggio Internazionale del Sole is excellently appointed for travellers seeking watery sports of all sorts, with fishing, waterskiing and windsurfing available without stirring from the grounds. Also handily, this site’s location is 50 kilometres from Turin and has easy access to several major motorways, making it a splendid spot for a stopover on your way through northern Italy. Around the immediate vicinity you can play rounds of golf or tennis sets, explore the area on horseback, or wander around medieval villages to delve into the local history. The accommodation areas are a short stroll away from the park’s own private lake beach, and the site is very well set up for bods who like to boat, with access to a boathouse and a small jetty, as well as a spacious marina with a dock kitted out with a heavy-duty boat winch. Non-boaty bods will also find lots to keep them occupied during leisure days on site, including a football pitch for friendly kickabouts, ping pong tables, a beach volleyball court, and a pétanque court for times when a slower game pace is required. On summer weekends, sit back with a glass of local wine or a cold beer and be serenaded at the park’s melodic music evenings among its comfy and cosy bar. The site’s food shop will see you sorted if you're running low on supplies.

Great spot by the lake with awesome mountain views & warm swims. Staff are super friendly. Pylons generally good, but some facilities a bit old. Showers/washing up need tokens for hot water. Can get noisy at night, and mozzies are around.

Liked Campeggio del sole is nestled in the heart of the Italian countryside in between vineyards and small Comunas. The site has access to its own private beach straight on to lake viverone. The staff at the site are so relaxed, accommodating and friendly - allowing us to rock up a day early to our booking without so much as batting an eyelid. Stefan, one of the site staff was particularly friendly and we felt sad to say goodbye! It is clearly a family holiday place well loved by the local community, as the small bar and cafe on site is bustling. The site also has lots of family friendly activities available incl a tennis court and mini golf. Pitches are small as the site is full of mostly privately owned accommodation. There is also a beautiful seafood restaurant seconds away from the campsite with lakeside views.

Disliked Toilets were a bit basic, functional and clean however. For the shower, hot water functions with a token systems which costs €1, but with the price of the site it can be overlooked.

Disliked Non è adatto ai gruppi di giovani.Le persone(donne di seconda età)che erano in campeggio li prima di noi erano antipatiche e ci hanno trattato come se li avessimo invasi.

Disliked Accueuillis par un homme pas tres aimable qui nous affirme que le camping est complet (malgré la reservation avec Pitchup). Il a fallu insister, nous avons ensuite été pris en charge par un autre homme beaucoup plus accueillant
Camping occupé par beaucoup de résidants pas aimables,
Sanitaires très anciens, eau froide pour faire la vaisselle, douche avec eau chaude mais avec jetons à 1 euros, le principe est bon mais beacoup trop court, l'eau chaude se coupe au bout de 2 min sans prévenir.

Liked Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Le camping se trouve très proche du lac donc très facile d’y accéder. Le camping est très ombragé. Ne pas oublier d’aller acheté des jetons pour avoir de l’eau chaude ( pour la vaisselle et les douches). Tout était plus que propre.
Nous y avons passé une soirée et une nuit très sympathique.

Disliked Attention à prévoir la bombe anti moustiques.

Liked Hartelijke ontvangst, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Gelegen aan een prachtig meer met adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen. Kinderen hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt. Op 2 km afstand een authentieke pizzeria gevonden waar we heerlijke pizza’s hebben gehaald. Een aanrader deze camping!
