At Village Flaminio all roads really do lead to Rome! Set in the ancient Veio park, the campsite is a lush oasis only 20 minutes from the archaeological sites, museums and piazzas. The site has been managed with passion and professionalism since the first day it opened in 1974. At Village Flaminio you will find spacious pitches and top-quality facilities including modern toilet and shower blocks, washing-up corners and a laundry room. The facilities are regularly refurbished and upgraded so as to maintain high standards. The access to our swimming pool is free for all the guests and is open between mid-May to mid-September. The bar serves breakfast every morning and cocktails in the evening that can be enjoyed on the large terrace shaded by awnings and parasols. A mini shop has all the essentials including small pieces of camping equipment such as gas bottles, power adaptors and fresh goods including milk, fruit and even gluten-free products.

Local attractions

Rome city centre is only a 20-minute train ride away, making the site a cheap and comfortable choice to discover the so-called Eternal city. Countless museums, archaeological sites, the Vatican, the government's palaces, churches, the taste of real pasta carbonara and delicious ice cream are all within a short distance. Closer to the campsite is Ponte Milvio, an old Roman bridge surrounded by lovely bistros and bars. Sports enthusiasts should not miss the Stadio Olimpico and Foro Italico, home to the Roma and Lazio premier league's football teams. Italian Tennis Open also takes place here every year. If you are around this area, don't forget the Stadio dei Marmi, a little stadium entirely made of Carrara white marble.
