What customers say

Awesome pool with great entertainment & cheap drinks. Spacious spots, generally clean. Great base for Rome. Staff are legend! BUT, some found it noisy at night, early pool tunes, not enough shade, sandy spots & heaps of bugs. Pool closing times were also a bugbear.

Liked Villaggio bene tenuto e ben attrezzato.

Gerne wieder!

Powered forest floor caravan site (pinewood)

Liked We thought the campsite was absolutely beautiful with amazing nature, trees and large pitches. The pool was clean and there were plenty of amenities, although we didn’t use most of them. The site was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked Sadly, we would not return to the campsite. We only stayed 2 nights, but both nights there were parties that went on till past midnight. Music at the pool started the next day around 9.30am and went on all day (except for a break between 2pm and 4pm). The music was not good and the “DJ” made the experience considerably worse. The campsite has a serious issue with insects, and we were constantly bitten while outside (not the fault of the campsite but I wanted to mention it).

Local attractions

To Rome, to Rome... far too much to mention here but to start off you should/must have a look at the Coliseum and Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi fountains and the Vatican... Archaeology is covered at the Satricum and Lavinium sites, while film fans should also like a visit to the Cinecittà World studio, considered the hub of Italian cinema. More modern history than Caesar et al will be found at the Museo dello Sbarco/Museum of the Allied Landing and Battle, and twentieth century war commemorations and memorials at the British Commonwealth, German and American Cemeteries of war. The Romans did like their baths: if this too is you, plunge into the waters of Terme Stufe di Nerone, built on the site of an ancient Roman prototype (but do book ahead at least two days in advance). Or go upwards at Rainbow MagicLand theme park near Rome, with rollercoasters and a planetarium, or to the dolphin and seal shows, waterslides and water tube rides of Zoomarine World in Torvaianica.
