Camping Mandala is a small rural site in Haute-Provence, in the foothills of the Alps at an altitude of 1,040 metres. The nearest village is La Javie, 12 kilometres away, although there are farm shops and an inn close to the site. The site's facilities include a playground, a small shop with bread service, and a vegetarian snack bar (high season only) that serves breakfast by reservation and holds themed evenings such as pizza nights. Other amenities include a launderette and washrooms with toilets, showers, baby bathrooms and disabled access. Camping Mandala is in the Haute-Provence Geopark and close to the Bléone river, so there are lots of outdoor activities nearby including hiking, donkey rides and canyoning. The site runs guided hikes and other activities in the summer months, and also holds yoga classes in its dedicated yoga yurt.
