Unpowered grass tent site (secluded)

Liked Really nice host and loved the setting. Nice clean facilities and a beautiful house. Would love to come back in summer!

Love a good hit of adrenaline? You’re certainly likely to get that if you take on the giant bungee jump from the viaduct in L’Isle-Jourdain (five minutes’ drive). That’s not the only option, either – you can also try the ziplines and high ropes courses at Parc de l’envol or watch thrilling races at Circuit du Val de Vienne (both five minutes) or head to Watersportsijd86 (10 minutes) for waterskiing and wakeboarding. Several of these activities have kids’ options, but there are also plenty of family-friendly attractions nearby – try the likes of La Planète des Crocodiles (half an hour) and La Vallée Des Singes (35 minutes) for animal encounters, or Futuroscope (50 minutes) for futuristic rides, shows and exhibits. Time to dial the pace down a little? Stroll around attractive medieval towns like Confolens (half an hour) and Chauvigny (40 minutes) – the latter has no fewer than five castles to visit.
