It's free, quick and easy!
- Family-friendly site 10 minutes’ drive from sandy Picardy beaches
- A 10-minute drive from Le Crotoy and 30 from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme
- Indoor and outdoor pools, steam room, sauna, hot tub and fishing ponds
Finding a top spot to spend your hols doesn’t have to be a battle... such as at Domaine de la Roselière, a family-friendly site five minutes’ drive from the Somme Bay village of Noyelles-sur-Mer.
This one’s an easy sell: it’s about 10 minutes from the site to the sandy beaches at the pretty fishing village of Le Crotoy, where there’s stand-up paddleboarding, horse riding, kayaking and kitesurfing, boat trips out onto the bay, and a little train that steams up and down the waterfront between Le Crotoy and Saint Valery sur Somme.
Even easier? The site itself is a dream… anyone angling for a fishing hol will consider this a lucky catch as there are two fishing ponds on site, and those in desperate need of a peaceful stay will be chuffed with the steam room, sauna, hot tub and heated indoor pool.
Summer sees the opening of the outdoor pool on site, as well as the start of the busy entertainment programme. Evenings without organised entertainment can start in the on-site bar or restaurant, or move off site to one of the many restaurants in Saint Valery or Le Crotoy.

Local attractions
Take a trip to the other side of the bay for a visit to Saint-Valery-sur-Somme half an hour’s drive away, where there are botanical gardens to wander, more beaches to explore, treetop adventuring at Parc Salomon, and a handful of museums looking at the history of the area.
When it comes to history, the Somme is of course best known as the site of a monumental World War I battle, and there are plenty of museums, events and tours hereabouts to give guests a thorough schooling, starting with the remembrance trail that begins an hour away in Albert.
Elsewhere, spend some time birdwatching at Parc de la Bouvaque and Parc du Marquenterre, wandering about at les Jardins de Valloires (all about 25 minutes away), or driving along the coast as far as Fort Mahon (half an hour from base) to mosey around the 17th-century sea fort.
For peaceful strolls in unbridled nature, the Baie de Somme National Nature Reserve is 15 minutes from the site – and bridled nature is within easy reach with some horse riding 10 minutes from base. Prefer to spend time outdoors ruining a good walk (in the words of Mark Twain)? The two fab 18-hole golf courses of Nampont-Saint-Martin are 15 minutes away, and in the grounds of a 15th-century château, no less...
