Disliked We were pitched on dirt, no grass with a concrete slab where a mobile home used to be situated. Screws sticking up out of concrete. Old waste pipes and water supply left lying on ground. Toilet/shower block was absolutely disgusting full of dirt, toilets absolutely filthy. Could not find clean water supply and the hosts did not speak any English and we do not speak enough French to communicate. Luckily we had only booked 1 night.

Regarding the pitch, it is part of an area currently being redeveloped following the removal of a mobile home. We regret that the spot wasn’t fully restored at the time of your visit. Since then, we’ve taken steps to improve and secure this area.

Concerning the sanitary facilities, please know that they are cleaned every single day. Unfortunately, we sometimes face issues with guests who do not respect the cleanliness of the shared spaces. That said, we are working to increase monitoring and maintenance during busy periods.

We also understand that the language barrier made communication difficult. While we always do our best to assist guests, we are continuing to improve how we welcome international visitors.

Liked It’s a welcoming site. The owner is very nice. The facilities were clean and the water very nice and warm.

Liked Shower/toilet block well maintained and clean, friendly helpful staff.

Disliked Grass pitch was totally unsuitable for a 3.5ton vehicle, thankfully a very helpful farmer pulled us out, and the second night was spent in their car park which wasn’t ideal.

Disliked We were ignored on arrival although the staff were all outside and could see us. It is very run down and had a lot of what appeared to be long term or permanent residents all of whom were drinking. We didnt feel comfortable so left and did not stay the night

Liked Grill, quiet location.

Disliked Just two toilets for the whole camp (one of that being for the handicapped), no area for doing dishes, using chip for shower is useless, no decent playground for little kids.

We would like to inform you that there is an area for doing dishes conveniently located next to the sanitary facilities. The use of chips for the shower is implemented to ensure that the facilities are available for everyone and not overused by those who have showers in their mobile homes.

Regarding the children, we do have a small playground available for their enjoyment. We continuously strive to improve our amenities and services.

From the manager: Vous aviez réservé un emplacement de 2x3m mais vous êtes arrivée avec une tente de 3x5m. Afin de vous accommoder, nous vous avons gracieusement installé sur un espace plus grand sans vous demander de supplément. Nous avons fait cela dans le but de rendre votre séjour aussi agréable que possible malgré la différence de taille de la tente.

Nous comprenons combien le bruit peut perturber un séjour. Nous travaillons constamment à faire respecter les règles de tranquillité, notamment en limitant les nuisances sonores après une certaine heure. Nous allons redoubler d'efforts pour sensibiliser nos clients à ce sujet.

La propreté est une priorité pour nous. Les sanitaires sont nettoyés une fois par jour.

Nous regrettons sincèrement que vous ayez eu une mauvaise expérience avec notre personnel. Néanmoins sachez qu'elles ont été serviables avec vous notamment concernant l'électricité que vous faisiez disjoncter avec vos machines. Elles se sont rendu disponible pour redémarrer l'électricité alors que la réception était fermée...

Nous espérons que ces explications clarifient la situation. Notre objectif est toujours d'assurer le meilleur service possible pour nos clients, et nous sommes ouverts à toute suggestion pour améliorer votre expérience chez nous.

It has been raining all week and our pitches are on grass. With the passage of other campers, mud has set in.

As stated in our description. We do not offer access to water or the emptying of chemical toilets in our establishment. However, we have made every effort to provide you with access to water.

As regards site maintenance, we are currently undergoing work and remain open so that travellers like you can stay.
