- Nine-hole golf course, café bar, pool and games room on site
- Five minutes from Labastide Murat with markets, shops and restaurants
What a Lot of things there are to like about this site in France's Midi-Pyrénées. Domaine de Bourrat is in the lovely Lot region, known the world over for its ancient limestone landscape chiselled by rivers to create great wooded valleys and gorges.
Lot is also home to the Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park, which is where also-lovely Domaine de Bourrat is placed, in a private and peaceful valley but only 20 minutes from the A20 motorway linking Paris to the Mediterranean and Spain: use the site as a stopover on your way to or from the south, or as a base to zip all around the Lot.
You'll find your Domaine well equipped when you arrive, with a swimming pool, games room with pool table and darts, a croquet lawn and a pétanque court, café-bar serving drinks, snacks and meals, and a nine-hole golf course with discounted green fees for guests all on site. Regular music and events are laid on regularly.
The park has showers, loos and water points, and is all five minutes' drive from Labastide Murat, which has a supermarket open daily, a filling station, bank, post office, butcher, bakery, bookshop, pubs, restaurants, a pizzeria, and regular markets, fairs and fêtes.

Route directions
Please note: the access road is 1km long and has a couple of tight bends. We have had several very large motorhomes (including an 8m double-axle caravan plus a huge boat) that have used the road. It’s all down to the driver’s confidence levels.
From the north (junction 56 of the A20)
Leave the motorway and at the roundabout turn right, taking the D677 in the direction of Labastide Murat. Continue through Labastide Murat for 2.5km towards Cahors. The sign for Domaine de Bourrat can be seen on the left - turn right over the motorway and we can be found 800m on your left. Follow the drive for 1km and you have arrived.
From the south (junction 57 A20)
Leave the motorway and at the roundabout turn right, taking the D820 in the direction of Brive for 12km. Turn right onto the D677 towards Labastide Murat for 7km. Approximately 0.5km after the Beaumat turning on the left, the sign for Domaine de Bourrat can be seen on the right - turn left over the motorway and we can be found 800m on your left. Follow the drive for 1km and you have arrived.

A few recommended options are the village of Rocamadour, built on the edge of a cliff, and one of the most popular places in the region for its location and its monasteries; visiting Cahors, well known for its wine; snapping a shot of the Pont Valentre bridge, and taking a trip to St-Cirq-Lapopie in its rather spectacular location overlooking the Lot River.
If you're a nature lover or wildlife watcher, visit the Rocher des Aigles park with over 400 birds of prey, owls and parrots (and falconry displays too), and the famed La Forêt des Singes where over 100 monkeys live.
