The beach will, of course, be the first place you go – it’s a very short walk from the site to the sands and the beach bars, where you can hire a lounger for a lovely lazy day. Stroll along the sand for a kilometre and you’ll come to a place where you can hire paddleboards or kayaks if you're feeling more active. A miniature golf course and horse riding school are also within walking distance. If you’d like to see more of this stretch of coast, head to Valras-Plage (15 minutes’ drive) or Cap d’Agde (half an hour), or take walks around natural area like Les Orpellières (half an hour’s walk) or Étang de Thau (half an hour’s drive). Inland, you may like to visit the pretty Saint Adrien Garden (20 minutes) or take boat tours along the Canal du Midi from Colombiers (25 minutes). You can also find boat tours in Béziers (25 minutes), which is also a great place for a stroll through the historic streets and squares and a visit to Saint-Nazaire Cathedral. A little way from the town, Béziers Aventure (20 minutes) is a popular place with adventurous kids.
