To Toussaint, and the family-friendly Camping Les Falaises de Toussaint, for peaceful Upper Normandy stays and plenty of options for countryside and coast activities. This chilled-out spot 10 minutes' walk from the village centre backs on to woodland for folk who fancy a forest foray, and it's within a couple of kilometres of horse riding, tennis courts and a boating lake. Cycling types can pedal for three kilometres to pick up the coastal bike path that runs all the way from Dieppe to Étretat, while those seeking something a little less energy-sapping can bask at Fécamp’s beach after a 10-minute drive. Lazing about is a fine option on site too, and your hosts here have provided a collection of books and board games to encourage such periods of idleness. (If you simply must have a bit of gentle activity, the three-hectare site is also home to a playground and pétanque court, and there's also a small, local sports pitch within walking distance of the site.) During the high season, there is a snack-bar on site. A small shop sells local produce and has a bread-ordering service for your morning meals; other supplies can be acquired at the supermarket five minutes' drive away and then stashed in the freezer back at base. Folk planning ferry travels to/from British shores may well find this a handy place for a first or final night, as the port of Le Havre is around a 45-minute drive away.

Clean and tidy.

Disliked Overcrowded. Our pitch was overlooked by the veranda of a static caravan where they chatted until midnight then started again at 8am. Touring pitches mixed in with static caravans, not separate so not peaceful.
Very basic sanitaires.

Nous sommes en pleine période estivale donc effectivement le camping est complet et non surpeuplé. Votre emplacement était situé à coté d'un emplacement mobil home séparé par des haies.
Nous souhaitons effectivement mélanger les emplacements et les hébergements pour plus de convivialité.
Nous n'avons pas eu de retour concernant les nuisances sonores et lors de nos différentes rondes sur le camping nous n'avons pas constaté d'éxagération.
Nos sanitaires sont normalement constitués de bacs à vaisselle, de toilettes, de douches et de lavabos ainsi que différents points d'eau pour les campeurs. Nous ne voyons pas ce que nous pouvons mettre de plus.
Concernant la note rapport qualité prix de 1 sur 10, c'est vraiment très exagéré avec ce point de vue il vaut mieux ne pas venir en camping.

Liked Everything about this site is lovely. The staff are welcoming, friendly and kind. Lovely flat private pitches and with the added bonus of a pizza kitchen every night. Lovely local beer to purchase too. Second time we’ve stayed here and looking forward to the next.

Disliked Staanplaatsen dicht aan de weg, staanplaatsen dicht op elkaar. Veel vaste sta plekken. Niet echt de charme van een bos camping.

From the manager: Nous sommes très étonnés de votre note, vous êtes satisfait de beaucoup de chose et votre note n'est que de 6/10.
Nous vous rappelons que l'heure d'arrivée est de 18h au maximum et qu'après cet horaire l'emplacement n'est plus garanti. Nous avons fait l'effort de vous recevoir à presque 20h et n'avions plus qu'un emplacement de disponible. Les emplacements font minimum 100m2 et le votre en faisait 120. Les emplacements permanents sont des locations de mobil home. Nous aimons que les clients locataires et campeurs puissent cohabiter. Je ne comprend pas votre allusion au camping forestier, sachez que le notre possède sur 2.5 hectares environs 300 chênes dont certain sont centenaires.

Local attractions

Once you've wandered around the woods by the site, saddle up to see some of the scenery from horseback from the riding centre five minutes' drive away or clamber up into the canopy to trot along the treetop trails at Etretat Aventure adventure park (20 minutes’ drive). Feet firmly back on the ground, there are all sorts of activities at Woody Park amusement park (five minutes), including laser games, bouncy castles and virtual reality games. Beach days and boat trips are 10 minutes' drive away in Fécamp, where there's also a fishing museum and stunning Benedictine Palace to wander around. A little further along the coast is Honfleur (50 minutes), a pretty fishing town with a harbour so handsome it inspired several Impressionists to get their paint palettes out. More arty sights lurk along the paths at Les Jardins D’Etretat (half an hour), a spectacular clifftop garden that combines colourful plants and pieces of modern sculpture. A sweet way to finish the day would be a stop at Chocolats Hautot (five minutes) to mosey around the museum and sample tasty treats.
