Just a few minutes from the centre of Concarneau and only 100 metres from white sandy beaches, at Camping du Moulin d'Aurore you will be welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind while you take advantage of all the attractions this beautiful area has to offer. You can relax at the beach or choose among the many outdoor activities available nearby, from tennis to swimming, sailing, canoeing and kayaking. The campsite offers modern facilities such as toilet blocks with showers, and launderette, as well as ping pong tables, a pétanque court and a play area for the children, equipped with slides and seesaws. During the high season in summer, you will also find a bar where to buy cool drinks, ice creams and other snacks. Free wifi is available.

Local attractions

Discover Concarneau and visit the old town, Ville Close, that stands on a rocky island a few metres off the coast and that can be reached by a drawbridge. Stroll along the main street lined with pretty medieval houses and many shops and restaurants. Walk around the ramparts of the fortifications around the Ville Close and enjoy nice views across the ports and Concarneau bay. There is also a fishing museum in the old town, where you can learn more about the importance of the industry, and a traditional indoor market where you can buy fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Do not miss out the famous Marinarium de Concarneau, home to a variety of species and with a 120,000-litre tank. There are also a couple of small beaches at Concarneau itself, and several others on the coast that can be accessed easily. The Plage des Dames and the Plage des Sables Blancs (with lifeguards in summer) are two popular beaches close to the campsite. In August, do not miss out the famous Festival Des Filets Bleus (Blue Fishing Nets), when the town goes back to its Breton roots, with traditional costume parades, dances and games.
