- Terraced naturist site with sea views next to a 1,500-metre beach
- On a five-kilometre seaside promenade and 10 minutes' drive to Punat
- Open-air restaurant, beach bar, barbecue area, tennis and kids’ club
Have a hol with your kit off at Naturist Camping Konobe in Krk, a hidden oasis for naturists on a 1,500-metre stretch of pebbly coast.
Set five kilometres from Punat, with access to a promenade that’ll take you right into town via the seaside on a wander, the park’s a peaceful place with very little sound other than the birds chirping and the waves crashing.
Wherever you sit on this terraced site, spectacular views over the clear waters of the Kvarner Gulf are almost guaranteed. Park yourself on the restaurant’s verandah to feast your eyes as you dine; for a change of scenery, grab grub from the shop and plan a picnic lunch to refuel after a morning out on some of the 200 kilometres’ worth of bike paths criss-crossing the island.
Retreat back to the site for active afternoons playing miniature golf, ping-pong, volleyball and badminton; watersports like sailing, surfing, parasailing, waterskiing are available in Punat (10 minutes’ drive) and wakeboarding’s five kilometres away.
To spend longer out on the sea, rent a yacht or sailboat (a provider is four kilometres away) or dive beneath the surface with a scuba lesson (three kilometres). Muscles need a good pummelling after a hard day’s exploring? A massage service is available at the park.
For winding down further with a drink while staring up at the stars that come out in this place of limited light pollution, a small bar’s down by the beach. If you’re after entertainment of a livelier sort, Punat’s waterfront often hosts musical events, folklore evenings and local festivals.

Local attractions
Feeling brave? This site’s a 10-minute drive from the starting point of a hardy hike down to Oprna bay, which is considered one of the top beaches on Krk for its bright white sand and glimmering blue water. Not up for trekking on narrow, uneven paths? Take a taxi boat instead – the site can organise lifts to other secluded beaches as well.
For culture, Krk – the island’s capital – is the place to go. Rove around the Roman historical centre (20 minutes) then cross over to Vrbnik (25 minutes) and sip on the famed wine produced here.
If you feel like fishing (perhaps best before a drinking session…) mosey back to the site and ask about angling excursions. Alternatively, crack on towards Soline bay for a swim in the healing mud on the beach (35 minutes), which is said to help with ailments like gout and rheumatism.
