  • A half-hour drive from Adelaide CBD and the Barossa Valley
  • Outdoor pool, play area, games room and barbecue facilities provided
Stop off on a long journey (on Highway 1, as the name suggests…) or settle in for a longer stay to explore a splendid part of South Australia – either way, Highway 1 Caravan & Tourist Park is a great spot in an excellent location. Pull off the highway at Bolivar and pretty much straight away you’ll be at this lush tropical haven, which spreads out over 20 acres of gardens and parkland. It’s a handy location for single travellers, couples and families alike, as it’s about a half-hour drive from Adelaide’s CBD and the Barossa Valley – and with plenty of options for coast and countryside outings nearby too. It’s not all about location though: this park is well stocked with facilities, too. There’s a lovely outdoor tropical-style pool to cool off in, a play area and games room where the kids can let off steam, and camp kitchen and barbecue facilities for cooking up outdoor meals (plus covered outdoor seating areas so you can dine in comfort). Wifi, toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a launderette are also on hand so you should have all the essentials covered.
