Liked: Very nice, peaceful campsite, not overcrowded, dog friendly, a nice base with few local walks and some more car dive away. Good pressured showers, with hot water, just what's needed after a long walk. Compost toilets, that to my surprise did not smell. Very nice host John, that would do an evening round with some wood logs for a fire pitch.

Off grid, beautiful, back to nature, but with a hot shower.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly hoste, John is a cracking chap, very knowledgeable and a good laugh. The site is ideally located with views of the hills and coast, short walk to the lighthouse, quiet and remote. Beautiful place.
Disliked: Can't think of anything!!!

Liked: The site was in a delightful position and the site manager was pleasant.
Disliked: This week we have completed walking the 180 mile Pembrokeshire coastal path and have enjoyed camping at many campsites all the way from Amroth to St. Dobmaels. All clean and well managed. Compared to these, Hillfort Tipi campsite was the worst site we stayed at, by a long way. Sinks that didn't work, hot water only available by unscrewing a shower head, site overgrown and unmown, rubbish by the campsites obviously uncollected for some time, the main phone number on the website not working, the mobile number not answered, the toilets were dirty with previous users not concealing their deposits with the sawdust provided. In summary it was shocking and we did not consider the site fit for use.. For which you insisted we join the Greener Camping Club for £12 and then pay accommodation costs of £15. A total of £27. We would like to think that this is not a typical campsite in the Greener Camping Club family. However as our experience was so bad we expect to be refunded for the cost of our stay. You have our credit card details to enable this refund and our email address to confirm that this has been done.
