  • Family-friendly site on a family-run smallholding with sea views
  • A 10-minute drive to Manorbier beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path
  • Firepits available for hire; play area and toys on site; pubs close by
Highland View Camping and Glamping will throw you headfirst into Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A laidback site where families are welcome, you’ll be able to soak in distant sea views by the day and stargaze at night thanks to the location in a low light pollution area. When you want to admire the sea up close too, you’re in luck, as the closest beach is only 10 minutes’ drive away (a prime spot for paddleboarding), as is the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Other ways to unwind at this eco-friendly site include off-ground firepits and barbecues – and handily, if you don’t have your own, there are firepits and wood available for a small charge. The site has board games and a play park too, which includes two trampolines, bikes and ride-on toy tractors (a likely way to tire out the kids while you kick back with a drink and admire the views). Alongside a kitchen/cooking area there's a small washing-up area where you can deal with any leftover pots and pans from your meals. Elsewhere, there’s composting toilets, a urinal and a hot water shower. While the patch itself is rural (and that’s not something you’ll forget, thanks to the surrounding fields and piglets on site), there’s easy access to bigger places such as Tenby or Pembroke from the A477, just a few kilometres away. As for food (that’s surely on your brain), there’s a farm shop, fish and chip shop and pubs serving food within three miles of the site. Interested in paddleboarding? Highland View Camping and Glamping can arrange hire with a reputable company on your behalf – they can even be delivered straight to the site.

The postcode takes you to the farm just past the site – do not go down the difficult track to Hayes Farm. The site is just after where the road narrows if coming from Milton. There is a wooden 'campsite' sign outside the gate, along with a big oak tree; opposite you'll see a mirror and telephone mast.
