What customers say
Top spot for a quiet getaway! Cleanest site, friendly owners. Spotless modern loos, great level pitches, and lovely gardens/woods. Handy for beaches and towns. Minor tweak suggestions but most keen to go back.

Stunning site
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Honestly I can’t put into words how much I loved this site.
The grounds were beautiful, we had a lovely time walking around them and exploring (and saying hello to the beautiful cat that seemed to be doing the same), the location was lovely, close enough to town that it wasn’t impossible to get anything you may need but far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet. The facilities were pristine, not once did I feel as though anything was unclean or unkempt.
We’re already planning to book a few more weekends in for this year.
Disliked I have no dislikes at all, except maybe that I never found out the cats name 😂

Liked Loved the caravan/camping area, secluded and quiet. The ponds/gardens are to die for, shame the cafe area wasn't open, really looked forward to a morning coffee while overlooking the garden.
Disliked Cafe not open Tuesday morning.

From the manager: So glad you enjoyed your stay.
The cafe or tearoom is permenantly closed, we used to be open t9 the public but we closed 4 years ago so the tearoom is used for workshops and when we have small weddings. So just incase you ever return to Hilton campsite please don’t expect a cafe.

Liked A really lovely peaceful campsite with large pitches which even when it is full doesn’t feel at all crowded. ( it was fully booked when we were there). Very simple clean well kept facilities…….. and a truly amazing 6 acre garden , planted by the really lovely owners , which is definitely worth staying for……amazing walk to a beautiful lake filled with waterlilies. And very close to great beaches and walks…… a great place to stay

Power optional grass caravan site
Liked Spent 3 nights at Hilton court. We pitched our tent on clean ground and also had the choice of location. Quiet and peaceful. Loads of room for our dog to roam, on the lead. The toilets were clean. Dishwasher area, clean water station and bbq hut were a nice bonus.
Disliked The bbq station was available but was quite dirty from use , and this was within peak season so you would expect some upkeep to take place frequently on these communal areas.
