Liked: A lovely peaceful, clean site. Spacious pitches with a lovely view. Bathrooms were always clean, nice powerful shower. A nice welcome on arrival even though we arrived late, and nothing was too much trouble whatever questions we had for Andy. Wouldn't hesitate to come back for another stay.

The Cwtch 1 bedroom apartment
Liked: Was not expecting too much as it was a late booking ...but were we pleasantly surprised the Cwtch was absolutely stunning.... everything was clean and tidy and actually new looking ...everything you could want for a relaxing break ( including a dishwasher lol).. Outside balcony that in the afternoon was the perfect sun trap...its a bit of a trek to a supermarket...but there is a garage just up the hill that does the staples...central location for the beaches ..and I recommend Brecfa Forest ... Over all 10/10 would visit again... I am not filling in the dislike as we disliked nothing.....but as we stayed for a week in a heatwave a washing machine would have been a help ( even one of the coin operated ones ) as things got a bit sweaty washing in sink just felt wrong lol....

From the manager: Thanks Jon for taking the time to leave us a review and really pleased to hear you liked everything about your stay. As we are only a small site, installing washing machines for our guests is just not a viable option and as the Windy Corner garage just up the road from our campsite has washing machine facilities for anyone to use, we find that this is a great option for those guests who are looking for that additional requirement.

The Shack microlodge
Liked: Friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, well equipped pod which meant we had to take very little (great with a 3yo in tow!). Wonderful view, a quiet park close to Newquay, Camarthen and Tenby. Park hosts were extremely helpful and friendly coming to introduce themselves and chat!

Powered grass campervan site (members only)
Liked: They welcomed us when we got there, very friendly. It’s our second time there. I would recommend you to go there, there are lovely showers rooms. There are a baby changing room too, always clean when you go in there, they have booklets printed out for you, like different places you want to go too and shops/ food shops if you want to go there. Lots of effort been put into it. We also walked on the other fields there and met some lovely dogs. Where we pitched out the tent, it’s a big area. There is also a washing up area too, there is always hot water too. Our kids loved it and so did we. We had a lovely talked to the owners and they are making it even better in the future, can’t wait to come back again soon.
Disliked: Should be more lights on the field, so we can see up as you got to the toilets area.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thanks very much for taking the time to leave us a review and the feedback about the lights in the tent area which we will look to rectify. Hope to see you again soon.
