  • Simple and straightforward site in rural Carmarthenshire
  • Carmarthen 10 minutes' drive; Saundersfoot half an hour
  • Family-friendly no-pets camping pitches; barbecues allowed
Wild Meadows Camping is a simple and straightforward site in rural Carmarthenshire, roughly 10 minutes' drive outside of the county town of Carmarthen. The spectacular coastline of both Carmarthenshire and neighbouring Pembrokeshire can be easily reached from this countryfied spot because of its proximity to the A40 road and its location close to the two counties' border. This friendly site has plenty of space, with roomy pitches and a great set of views over the local countryside. The facilities at this family-focused spot are simple, with portable toilets, an outside tap and an open-air shower for those that don't mind a bracing wash. Barbecues are allowed, so it'll be easy to sustain yourself at Wild Meadows Camping, and provisions can easily be picked up down the road in Carmarthen's several shops and supermarkets. Located on the edge of the tiny village of Llangynog, Wild Meadows Camping is also five minutes' drive from the slightly larger village of St Clears, where there are amenities like a convenience store, a coffee shop, a fish and chip shop and a couple of local pubs.
