Liked Such a nice a peaceful campsite, the owners are really nice and friendly. We had a lovely pitch at the end of the site but close enough to everything including the park for the kids. We were able to extend our stay when we were there which was a bonus as we enjoyed it there so much. Would definitely camp here again!

Very good site .... Ideal for a 2 night camping trip.
Powered grass site
Liked The cleanliness of the site on arrival was lovely to see.
All pitches was spacious and allowing the vehicles to remain at the pitch is always a bonus.
Disliked Due to the size of the site (small) I believe introducing (quiet times) no music or outside gatherings after 11pm.
Sadly we had an adult group up until 1am which kept my wife and daughter awake.

From the manager: i am very sorry to hear this and can only apologise . Our quiet time begins at 10pm and had you called the emergency number to let us know we could have asked the party to quieten down
Great weekend.

Liked Bonnie and Shane are a lovely couple and were really helpful throughout the weekend. The site is well organised and very clean, especially the new shower block.
Disliked Nothing really to dislike about the site but there isn’t much within walking distance.

Liked Loved the site not to big, great family friendly site. Little shop for essentials. Great welcome on the site.
Disliked The facilities could of been a little cleaner. But not un usable, also more places to put bags whilst showering. I found when adult and child I was struggling to find some where to put stuff to keep dry.

From the manager: We are sorry to hear you found the facilities unclean , had you informed us at the time we could have investigated . They are in constant use throughout the day and are inspected regularly and thoroughly cleaned between 11-12 am , I'm not sure what else we can do .

Liked We was met by Shane and Bonnie who couldnt be more helpful and it was very quickly evident how much passion they had for their livelihood. They have poured their heart into creating a welcoming, safe and exceptionally clean site. They do it all themselves from check ins to cleaning and maintaining the grounds, shop keepers and everything in between ensuring the highest standards are met. It has been an absolute pleasure to have stayed 11 days with them. We have to mention the very lovely Jenny and Alan who greeted us upon arrival (seasonal guests/site warden) with a very warm and friendly welcome offering of drinks and any assistance whilst setting up and just a real pleasure to get to know over our 11 days stay. There is also the lovely Jay and Jamie equally welcoming and helpful and between them all make the site feel like a little community and so welcoming. We had no issues and felt like we were saying goodbye to family by the time we checked out.
The site is clean and tidy and maintained to a very high standard. You are surrounded by beautiful views of the surrounding greenery and farmlands. The site is sizeable for the 29 pitches and camping fields. We had a fully serviced hard standing pitch that was a generous space with plenty of room without being to close to neighbouring pitches. There is a shower block and toilet block always clean and sanitary making the use of them pleasant and comfortable. There is a small shop on site that has all the essentials and very reasonable prices.
The park is inviting and well maintained for the children to enjoy aswel as the surrounding field the children can play on.
Sebastian is the farm mascot making himself known when you head down the bottom of the site where the chicken, ducks and geese are. He makes himself known as you aproach the fence and keeps a watchful eye. There is a dog walk path with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. We ventured out alot to different places and found the location ideal as our base being central to all the places we wanted to visit including Tenby, Cardiff, Brecon park and Pembrey to name a few.
We have loved our time at Church House Farm Getaways and will definitely be back.

Loved everything! The views were amazing,…
Powered grass site
Liked Loved everything! The views were amazing, it was central to lots of places with only a half hour drive to most of the areas we wanted to go to. Affordable. The owners of the site (Bonnie and Shane) were so attentive to anything we needed. Our 2 year old has a fascination with diggers and tractors and they were more than happy to let him sit in their vehicles. This was a huge highlight of the campsite for him but he also never wanted to leave the park. He loved the geese (especially Sebastian), the chickens and the ducks. It was also lovely to see their dogs Sam and Ben, very friendly dogs. The showers/toilet cubicles were always clean and it was nice to be able to use a singular cubicle which wasn't a shared bathroom facility. Grass and environment was always maintained well making it easy to camp on. Lights around the site to make it easy to see in the evenings and allow you to hire a campfire and purchase logs which was a lot cheaper than buying it in the shops which was lovely in the evenings with a nice cold drink. The owners attention to detail by always finding ways to improve things for their guests including mowing a path for a dog walking area around the site while reducing the risk of your dog getting ticks and taking the time to come and speak to guests about their day and where they had visited and then making suggestions based on your interests. They (particularly Shane) would also talk to you about the history of the campsite and area having great subject knowledge. He was also able to recognise if you just wanted a family holiday without the discussions.
