  • Surrounded by nature
  • Ancient castle
  • On the River Wye
The natural landscape of this location means you'll be surrounded by nature at its finest. Pandy Caravan Club Site is located at the western boundary of the River Honddu and visitors to the park are treated to the majestic Skirrid, which greets all early risers with its imposing presence. The reputation of the caravan park's location is clearly deserved. Abergavenny is a treat for all newcomers with its ancient castle being a particular highlight and a food festival that takes place in September. The site is also well placed for visiting the county town of Hereford on the River Wye, with its beautiful cathedral and range of shops and places to eat. Pandy Caravan Club Site itself is a level, luscious green, scattered with impressive mature trees. It's a fine introduction to what you can expect with a bit of exploring. Walks, whether guided or unguided (the Brecon Beacons National Park produces a useful list) prove rewarding as there are no less than seven pubs within 2 miles of the caravan site with the nearest a mere 50 yards stroll away. The area is also noted for fine dining, including a Michelin Star restaurant. Historical buildings characterise the area, which speak of the unsettled and sometimes battle-torn history of the borders. Magnificent views can be found at the Symonds Yat Rock with breathtaking sights over the lazy River Wye. The site is situated 0.5 miles from the Offas Dyke path and 10 miles from Blaenavon World Heritage Centre. Recently this area was mentioned on the BBC programme Countryfile.
