Liked: Absolutely everything, the views are like nothing I’ve seen ! Spotlessly clean, I love that you can park up we’re you like and no matter were you choose you have unlimited sea views . Honestly have had our van for 4 years now and have stayed at many campsites ! Nothing compares to this, truly stunning place. We had the pleasure of meeting huw, his son David and his daughter ( sorry I didn’t get your name ) oh and his grandson and what a beautiful family you all are. Thankyou so much for our stay it was our first time but I promise it won’t be our last 🫶 I don’t normally write reviews but this was a must.

Disliked: Having to go home, we even stayed an extra night

Local attractions

You might first spot the Goleudŷ Ynysoedd y Moelrhoniaid (The Skerries Lighthouse) from the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. Up close, after a chartered boat ride from Holyhead (25 minutes’ drive), the view is even better, and the birdwatching just as splendid. The seabird colony at Cemlyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Reserve (10 minutes’ drive) is pretty spectacular to watch too. A shingle ridge, lagoon and plants such as sea kale and sea campion are part of the highlight reel at this place – just the thing if you're a fan of spying on wildlife. Those of you who are planning on spending a lot of your downtime beside the sea will be happy to find that there are a number of beaches that are easy to get to from Llain Ffynnon Camping. In fact, the National Trust’s Traeth Ynys y Fydlyn is half an hour’s walk away, and there are caves and rockpools to rummage around down there. Further out, other gorgeous beach locations include Cemlyn Bay (15 minutes’ drive), Porth Trwyn (10 minutes) and Traeth Porth Wen Beach (15 minutes).
