Liked: Absolutely love this site. Owners and staff are welcoming and helpful with great communication. The site is well maintained and the facilities are spotlessly clean. The campsite is flat in most places and the pitches are very generous in size. We have a large tent and there was ample room for the tent and car. The site is perfect for a relaxing break, looking at the views and listening to the many birds and animals around, we enjoyed listening to the tawney owls at night. Also the lanes around are perfect for walking or cycling, the hedges are full of bluebells and red campions. If you want shopping Pwllheli is a10 minute drive. You are also close to Abersoch and Porthdinllaen beach at Morfa Nefyn is spectacular, with a brilliant pub, right on the beach, The TY Coch Inn well worth a visit. This campsite really is in the perfect position to explore the Llyn peninsula. Caernarfon and snowdonia are also within easy reach. We will definitely be back again.

Liked: We stayed at Rhos Y Foel on a trip to Pwllheli and what a lovely place to stay it turned out be. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with all the facilities you need and none that done. Great pitches, friendly staff and room for children to run about. We will definitely go back.

1000% better than big club sites as independent and locally owned

Liked: Marta is the loveliest host and as other reviews say, goes above and beyond. The facilities and site tidiness is extremely clean and smart and well maintained. Showers exceptionally clean and always had hot water. Seen reviews about showers being dated but this is a small independent farm, not a millionaire club site, so expect to be modest. The fact there's not a cobweb or spec of dust in sight, shows desire to make guests feel happy and comfortable. Large pitches and spectacular views. Very peaceful vibe and we will certainly return because supporting smaller independent sites is key and where we feel our time should be spent... absolutely cracking site.

Liked: The serenity of sites locality. Simply stunning. Great showers and facilities. The views were awesome and I could not fault the service given by Sam and the young lady who lives on site. Friendly, accommodating & willing to offer their help when my husband and I got stuck in the mud with our motorhome. Nothing was too much trouble and the site staff went the extra mile to make sure we were happy
Disliked: The only concern was the muddy field BUT that was out of the hands of the site owner/ managers who, in total respect, made sure that we were suitably accommodated having helped get us out of our muddy situation - respect and no fault to them
