What customers say
Great views, loads of space & friendly staff. River access is a bonus. Facilities are clean, hot showers are ace. Relaxed vibe, but loos could be better & not much for kids. Good for a chill, no-frills getaway.

Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Great find hidden off the road. Lovely welcome and told to pitch where we like. Large pitches . Flat ground. Clean toilets and showers.
Parked on the left side looking at the mountains . The river runs along the overside .
Peaceful nights sleep. Short walk , 15 minutes to starbucks and the garage which stocks lots of items .
We will definitely be returning to this one.
Disliked Grass was a bit overgrown so when walking to the toilets you would have wet feet .

Great site in a stunning location
Powered grass tent site
Liked Great site it stated it’s a back to basic site but still has everything you need showers were only a portable block but really spacious and lovely and hot. Toilets need a bit of TLC but these are in the process of renovation in a new block so look forward to this on our next visit. Owners are Really friendly and the site is in a beautiful location with a a river running along side what is a great added bonus. 7 min drive from a beautiful little town centre with a fish and chip shop and take away , butchers and a fantastic vintage shop. A few local grocery shops a 10 min drive and 25 mins in to Barmouth
Disliked My only fault would be to have hot water to wash your dishes but I’m sure this will come with the new upgrades. Guests needs to learn how to use a bin rather than leaving there dirty dish sponges all over the sinks, twice I cleaned the sink area and removed all dirty sponges and rubbish from the area the owners have enough to do rather than picking up guests mess that takes 2 mins to put in the nearby bins

Lovely Field, shame about the other guests!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked - View around the field was stunning
- Quality of the field
- Sheep nearby was lovely to wake up to
- The town (less than a ten minute drive) nearby was great
Disliked - Not many toilets for the women. Only 1 stall for the men, although 3 urinals were present
- Unfortunately for us, we had a large family gather next to us who started blasting loud base music and literally chanting at 11pm. We assume the only stopped because it started to rain. Hopefully they enforce a quiet hours. Would be good to enforce such a policy after 11pm. Surely it’s an isolated inconvenience, not the fault of the site itself, as the field itself was lovely, just needs mentioning

Lovely riverside site
Close to local town of Dolgellau
Amazing views
Disliked Toilet and shower block. Shower was cold and not enough when the site has lots of guests.
Toilets need some TLC, doors don’t lock and no door in mens so can see at urinals
Could hear lots of dogs barking most of the day but not at night
