What customers say
Great spot, quiet too. Owners are a gem, doing renovations. Campers loved the big, flat sites, views and easy canal walk to Llangollen. No showers/toilets yet, but coming soon. Perfect for a quick getaway and a peaceful base.

Beautiful peaceful site
Powered gravel and concrete motorhome site
Liked Everything - it’s the most beautiful peaceful setting and the owner is super friendly and helpful -the site is well planned with some water points close enough to serve water direct to motorhome through a hose. The walk into town is approx 20mins along a pretty canal -100% we will return next year

Much Improved Quiet Site, 15mins walk to Llangollen
Powered gravel and concrete motorhome site
Liked Position, Hardstanding Pitches with Electric, Water handy, Bins with Recycling, New Elan point, Electric Gates with Pass Code, Close to all amenities, Shops, Pubs, Eateries, Canal Trips, Heritage Train, Fishing & Canoeing on River Dee, Openair Music Venue, Flat Walk to Ponticillic Aquaduct. New owners so site being upgraded for the better, at minute no Toilet or Shower Facilities but they just need plumbing in as of 1/10/25 for the Caravan/ MotorHome Site (Pods & Cottage have their own Facilities. Site is 15 mins walk to Llangollen mainly flat if you walk the canal towpath but you may encounter the Horse Drawn Trip Boat 😊😊😊 if you return the same way it’s uphill from town to towpath and towpath to site
Disliked Nothing, but would suggest if Caravanning you take extra packing for 2 leg supports

Great for those looking for tranquillity close to town amenities
Powered gravel and concrete motorhome site
Liked Lovely large pitches but limited numbers in a field with a view at the rear of the house. Great spot as it is walkable to Llangollen and a short drive to the falls. Nice and secure and nestled between some unoccupied Sheppards huts.
The main building has interesting architecture which you need to see to appreciate.
We knew before we arrived that there were no toilet facilities so cannot comment on them other that to say they will be installed shortly.
We were met by Mark, the owner who was more than helpful.

Liked Very friendly and helpful owners.
Nice little site with an easy walk into the town and close to the canal with its horse drawn boats!
Good site for touring the area and only 4 miles or so from the Pontcysyllte aqueduct.

Liked Only stayed for one night. But the host Mark and his wife were very welcoming. They even made cake and bought it for us to try.
Really enjoyed it and it is only a 10 minute walk from the town which is ideal.
We will definitely be returning.
