Amazing family site, couldn't ask for better. Love, love, this site
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site (pet friendly)
Liked Wow, what can I say about this site!
Hosts are amazing, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble from the moment you arrive through the gate.
Pitches have been really well thought out with space in between so you're not right on top of the next tent. Car can be driven to your pitch while you unload and blow air beds and the likes up but then you are asked to park your car on the car park. Why, some may ask well it's a family site and Michala and Lee keep chickens which are extremely friendly and like to wonder the site!
The toilet block, showers and general site are lovely, extremely clean and well stocked with an on site bar!!
Personally I booked for 2 nights for my lad and I, neither of us wanted to come home so we didn't and were lucky enough to stay for 4 nights... Gutted we will have to leave but we WILL be regular returning customers.
Oh did I mention they also have pigs and sheep too!!
My lad and I couldn't have asked for a better time away, yes we even got the weather, a full moon and meteor shower as the sky is that uninterrupted.
1000% you would not regret booking a stay at New Inn with hosts Michala and Lee.
Disliked We had to eventually leave 😭

A lovely and well run family campsite
Unpowered grass tent site (large, no pets)
Liked New Inn has a lovely atmosphere emphasising everything wonderful about camping without trying to squash in as many people as possible. Just the right size to feel like you’re getting away from it all but still with other families for kids for to get to know and play. Amenities are well organized and kept clean. Great location for visiting lots of what Wales has to offer. The owners are friendly and very much present and hands on which is lovely to see and take the kids to feed the chickens, pigs and sheep as well as put on a bonfire for marshmallows. They are generous with their time and effort. The bar/shop is well run and very reasonably priced.

From the manager: Thanks for the great review but, mate, you need to watch 'Wayne's World', because pretty soon she is going to be buying you a gun rack!
Perfect site about 15 mins from Llangollen! Has everything you need?
Unpowered grass tent site (large, no pets)
Liked This site is very well kept! Our pitch was mowed fresh for us on arrival (and we was even an hour earlier). Semi rustic approach on the outside but still looks great and everything inside is spit on.
Showers - spotless
Toilets - spotless
Inside seating area (new I think) - spotless.
The bar/coffee shop is well stocked! Even has a small selection of meat and camping essentials.
Even an place to charge phones, power banks, torches etc. Nice touch as it's a non hook up site.
Owner even had a nonfore and smores for everyone in the evening. Completely free as well. Top bloke!
Overall an excellent site. Our 3rd time visiting!
Disliked Not allot really!

Great 'off grid' site with friendly staff and spacious pitches.
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site (pet friendly)
Liked A relaxed vibe at this small friendly site. Good sized pitch which was slightly screened off by tall grasses so it felt very private. There is a bar/shop area next to Reception which sells a very decent glass of cider ( beer also available! ) as well as good coffee and other things e g. sweets. The toilets were immaculate and the provision of a phone charging station was really useful. The owners Leigh and Michaela couldn't have been nicer and were so welcoming and happy to chat. Gizmo the JRT was a star as was the resident labrador ( sorry forgot your name). Great idea to have a separate camping field for doggos away from the chickens and small children 😆. As a solo female camper it felt very safe and me, Bean and Spud will definitely be back.
Disliked I can't say that I disliked anything really but if you're a light sleeper, be aware that there is a busy road near the dog friendly camping field. It won't affect your dog's safety but the traffic doesn't really quieten down until quite late , so maybe bring earplugs if it would be an issue for you.
