What customers say
A tranquil spot with lovely country vistas and forest tracks. Campers rave about the welcoming owners, spotless amenities, and great pitches. Cosy cabins are a hit. Showers are a tad old but clean, hot water can be iffy, and you'll need a car. Upgrades on the way!

Liked Lovely area. We was lucky and ended up with snow which was amazing!
Disliked Showers were always cold, in men & women’s. Don’t know if that’s just because it was so cold, but wasn’t enjoyable when trying to warm up.

Excellent site overall and I would certainly recommend.
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked The campsite is lovely and quaint. It’s set in a beautiful countryside setting with a wonderful view of the stars as there is no light pollution. The facilities were clean and the owner was very friendly and happy to help. Also not to much distance from major areas
Disliked My only dislike is the fact that the showers didn’t seem to reach a temperature that was comfortable. Although it was very cold outside, meaning this may have affected the feel in the shower block.

Lovely site set within beautiful scenery.
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked The route in was good for travelling with a touring caravan. The views were beautiful and the stars on the clear nights are stunning. We liked being in the middle of knowwhere but there is a small village a short drive away. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked We had a few problems with the electric to our pitch, as did a few other caravans. We had to use our fridge on gas as the electric wasn't giving enough voltage. It tripped out a few times, including once in the middle of the night which was inconvenient. The owner was very helpful and we managed to get it working again each time it tripped but it made us anxious and didn't really want to use all our gas when we had paid for an electric pitch. We would stay again but make sure we had enough gas in the bottles in case.

Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Absolutely perfect place to stay over Christmas, hardstanding, level pitches meaning no access issues, heated washing/loo/shower block and washing up room were very much appreciated when the temperature was below zero, and very warm welcome too.
Great central location in North Wales for visiting relatives near Chester, mountain biking and walking around the very nearby Brenig and Alwen Reservoirs, and not too far to the mountains and beaches in and around Snowdonia.
Disliked Nothing
