What customers say
Great riverside spot with friendly staff. Loved the alpacas, river fun, and onsite pub grub. Facilities generally clean, but some found showers limited for longer stays. Beautiful and family-friendly – a top pick!

Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site (family, maximum 6 metres)
Liked Just spent 2 lovely nights at this wonderful campsite with my 2 children. We did the Alpaca walk and feed which my kids loved. Molly our guide was fab and very informative. Molly also gave us advice on the local area and recommended Lake Bala which was only 25 mins away. It’s stunning and offers plenty of water sports.
The campsite is located on the river and great for the kids to play in as it’s not deep. It was fun driving across the ford to get to the tent pitch. There are 2 covered compost toilets and a washing area to wash your equipment or get water.
We were all gutted to leave as we had such a great time. We will definitely be back. Thank you. Richard.

Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site (family, maximum 6 metres)
Liked Absolutely beautiful site, starts with a drive through the river to get onto your pitch. Lovely views pitched next to the river. Alpacas, sheep and chickens to feed on site, the pub a d staff are lovely.
Disliked Was quite busy and noisy on the riverside camp field, can imagine is quite peaceful once the kids are back in school.
I have a problem with compost toilets, but when there are only 2 for the amount of people using them first thing on the mornings, it's not the nicest. But the staff do try to clean them every hr. A shower would be nice, even if it was a solar power outdoor shower.

Liked What an amazing place this is, owner is super helpful and friendly, site is spotlessly clean, gorgeous views, really quiet.
Had food in the pub, which was absolutely fantastic, best mashed potato I've ever eaten from a restaurant/pub. Played a few games of pool before retiring for the night.
