Nom, nom, nom!
Wood-fired pizza and ice-cold drinks in summer
Bella rutherford from the farm producing some amazing coffee for the caffeine addicts up early!

  • Pop-up site on a working farm two miles from Llandudno and Conwy
  • A 10-minute drive to Snowdonia National Park; walk to the beach
  • Woodfired pizzas, bar, and barista coffee available
Whether you’re cycling to the beach, surfing or relaxing by a firepit back on site, Camp Llandudno will put you in touch with the simple pleasures. A pop-up site with open, spacious fields (and heaps of fresh air, of course), this place is for the folk who like proper back to basics camping. In fact, the owners describe their sheep farm as just a couple of splendid fields that happen to be well-suited to camping… It’s not just the stunning semi-rural location and south-facing fields that are to like here. The farm is also just two miles from Llandudno, Deganwy and Conwy on the North Wales coast, so a five-minute drive will get you to copious cafés, restaurants, bars and pubs. Handily, there's a camp kitchen serving hot breakfast baps in the mornings, as well as barista coffee throughout the day and tasty woodfired pizzas in the evening. A well-stocked bar serving ice-cold drinks is also available. For sea dips, Deganwy beach and West Shore beach are five minutes’ drive away (or a slightly longer walk or bike ride for the active types). With bus stops at the front gate and a food shop and a pub a couple minutes’ drive away, it’s all rather convenient. When it comes to the simple pleasures on site, think firepits for hire (subject to availability) and regular starry skies. Open fires and barbecues are permitted off the ground and firewood can be purchased on site. Other pop-up facilities include six hot-water and four cold-water shower cubicles, a toilet block with proper flushing toilets, additional clean portable toilet facilities, an Elsan point and cold water supplies for drinking and washing up. There’s no electricity or wifi (although there's usually good 4G/3G coverage and you can bring equipment like camping toilets or solar showers). With a fun and relaxed vibe, everyone is welcome here – families, couples, friends, young, old… with well-behaved dogs (on a lead, unless supervised in the designated dog exercise area) included.

What customers say

Top spot! Spacious sites, friendly staff, delish wood-fired pizzas & brekky baps. Great for Llandudno. Clean loos/showers. Basic but has a bar & fire pits for good vibes. Some road noise & portaloo tidiness can be an issue when busy.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked Great location. Average facilities. Liked the wood fired pizza and the coffee shop on site.

Disliked The quiet times were not respected meaning noise carried through late into the night and this was not dealt with by staff.

From the manager: The vast majority of our campers do respect each other and turn music off at 10pm and keep noise down. We also do the rounds at night and ask campers to turn off music and keep noise down after 10pm. It doesn't mean that everybody respects it though, sometimes the music/noise goes back up as soon as we are gone. Obviously we can't have a staff member on every pitch policing all night! We are a busy buoyant bubbly site, it's never going to be perfectly peaceful at night here like if you were in a field by yourself. That all said, please campers, respect each other and chill after 10pm.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked This is our second year at Camp Llandudno and the upgraded toilet and shower blocks were a lovely surprise ! Whilst the toilets are unisex, they are clean and kept well stocked with toilet roll.

The location is perfect for visiting the surrounding area of Llandudno and Deganwy. We had some amazing weather and swam in the warm sea.

The pizzas are great, highly recomended.

Mark and his staff make you feel very welcome and can’t do enough to help you. Any issues are dealt with efficiently and calmly.

We will definitely be back.

Liked Camp Llandudno goes from strength to strength every year. Been 3 years running and never had a bad visit. The new toilet and shower blocks are a welcome addition to the site. Mark and his team are always welcoming and helpful. I look forward to booking next year already knowing I’m in for an excellent stay.

Liked Staff were so welcoming and from start to finish helpful and friendly. It’s a lovely campsite with great toilet and shower facilities which were spotless throughout our stay. Breakfast baps are amazing as is the bar which was well stocked . We didn’t try the pizzas but they looked and smelled fab. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked Great pop up camp site , got everything you need.
Very attentive staff always somebody around.
Plenty of toilets, showers. They have a bar where they serve drinks and also coffee/tea. They serve breakfast every morning and then cook pizzas every evening. They sell smore kits and also hire out camp fires and logs.
Plenty of space for children to run around and some animals to go and see.
Can’t fault the campsite we throughly enjoyed our weekend stay.

Disliked Even though there are signs to say no loud noise our first nights stay was quite noisy with people still shouting at 1am.
Thankfully children managed to sleep thru it.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this pop-up campsite! The new shower and toilet facilities were spotless, modern, and far better than we could have hoped for – it really made the whole experience so much more comfortable.

The food was another highlight – the pizzas in the evening were simply amazing, freshly made and delicious, and waking up to bacon and sausage butties in the morning was the perfect start to the day.

The whole atmosphere of the site was welcoming and relaxed, with everything you could need for a comfortable, enjoyable camping trip. We couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special camping experience!

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked Relaxed vibe, spacious plots, freedom to choose where you want to pitch. Friendly staff!
Pop up food and drink tent.
Good location.

Disliked Mixed toilets - More flushable toilets would make a huge difference. More sinks with warm water would be great.
More checks around the site- we had multiple couples with extra tents and cars turning up squeezing into 2 plots next to ours. (We didn’t check in until around 7pm). They were really loud until 1.30am. Yes you expect noise beyond the 10pm guide restriction, but this was taking the mick.
