What customers say
Charming, quiet campsite with gorgeous country views. Famously friendly owners, spick-and-span facilities & great campfires. Perfect base for exploring nearby pubs & sights. Basic but tidy amenities; some found the showers a bit pokey.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely area. Clean toilets and showers. Lots of room. Friendly owners. Close to nice pubs and walks. WiFi really good.
Had a lovely morning swimming in the river.
Disliked Some numpty playing happy hard core loud enough to spoil the peace. He did turn it down when I asked but still. I mean I think you really need to be on drugs and in the 90s to appreciate it.

Great site, would definitely stay again if staying in the area.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely little campsite. Close to 2 pubs, furthest being a 25 min walk (the better drinking pub). Hot showers and toilets that were cleaned throughout the day. Had a nice wooden shelter with sockets for charging if you needed, also provided a place to sit outside when raining. Not that we took the offer up but maps and guidance was offered for things to do locally. Lovely views when it was clear. Owners were amazing, easy to talk to.
Disliked Only the rain

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The site was easy to find and the owners were there to greet us on arrival. Open fire camping was better than we expected and the views were fantastic. It was peaceful and had everything we needed. The location was great for the waterfalls walk and the walk to the show caves was scenic. We didn’t have the best weather but we did venture in the rain to the village where there are two pubs. Unfortunately we didn’t book to eat but were able to get some take away food in one. Would definitely visit the site again as so much more to explore
Disliked Nothing!!! The camp site was fantastic and wouldn’t change a thing
