What customers say
Top spot! Super clean & looked after with fantastic facilities. Staff are legends, the location's a beauty and Hay-on-Wye's an easy stroll. Spacious, level sites & nice and quiet. A bit of road noise near the gate and no shop, but that's about it.

Liked Wonderful site with immaculate showers and toilets. Great resources - shower gel etc provided and even a dishwasher available for a small fee.
Easy to walk to Hay-on-Wye, set in a beautiful location.
Lovely meet and greet to allocate our pitch too.

This campsite is definitely at the top of our list to return to.

Liked This is one of the very best campsites we have ever stayed in, so much consideration to detail, cleanliness and comfort. All the facilities were first class clean and modern; the surrounding views were breathtakingly beautiful and it was so quiet, apart from a few farm vehicles but these guys work so hard to give us the food and countryside we love. .
Another big plus was being close to the town to walk to for amazing little book shops, cafes and wild swimming in the river. Oh and lots of excellent places to eat out, including pubs.

Staff go above and beyond, great for accessibility

Liked The campsite is incredibly welcoming and the team was so helpful. We managed to lock ourselves out of our campervan while we were there and got so much support from the managers. The pitch was really close to the accessible facilities and it was relatively easy to get to Hay from the site.
Disliked Unfortunately, though the campsite owners aren't responsible for it, the shorter and safer route to Hay-on-Wye from the site wasn't wheelchair accessible due to two stiles on the Public Right of Way. This meant my spouse needed to use the main road to travel to the town in their wheelchair.

Weather was fantastic for our week and we enjoyed it.

Liked Very clean site and shower block.
Plenty of room between pitches.
Disliked Quite costly when there's no water or drainage at the pitch.
Most of the pitches are taken by seasonal pitches.

Lovely site with friendly staff and great facilities
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Friendly staff, excellent facilities, well maintained site with lovely views.
Disliked Nothing to dislike but like many sites the WiFi is iffy. One of the reasons for choosing this site was the potential to walk into Hay with our dog but this wasn’t available in practice because of very tall styles on the route. With a small dog you can lift over a style or with no dog then it would be great but with a larger dog it does mean you have to drive into Hay.
