What customers say
Lovely, tidy, chill riverside campsite, plenty of space. Owners are super friendly & helpful, loos & showers are spotless, setting's dead peaceful. Some folks mention limited local shops, shower fees, and older facilities, but most reckon it's a ripper spot for a cruisy break.

Would stay again, friendly owner. Nothing too much trouble.

Liked Clean & tidy shower/toilet facilities. The lovely lady was in and out cleaning them all the time.
Very safe and secure site, gated access.
Horses and sheep in surrounding fields, nice rural feel.
Pretty river running at the back of the site, access down to the river was a little steep in parts but a shingle beach you can use for access (but no dogs)
Disliked Not a great deal in the local area, no shop or pub with in walkable distance so come prepared as there isn’t anything on site if you’ve forgotten something.
The site however is wonderful!

Friendly, lots of kids for ours to play with and clean toilets etc.

Liked We stayed for 3 nights with two boys aged 11 and 9. Very friendly owners/owners parents who run site. Great location on river. Kids loved it in the river and fishing. Big central space for kids to play football, cricket etc. Toilets well cleaned, small charge for showers keeps the queues down so seems a good idea. We used it as a base after going Welsh show and went to Elan valley one day and just chilled out for a day with the kids keeping themselves busy making friends and swimming/fishing. We did some mountain biking but realised it is located among some very good riding and walking routes which we will return for.

Liked Pitches were a good size, very accommodating owners, toilets well maintained, paddling in river very pleasant. Also there is a sheltered area with a shared fridge and freezer which was really handy
Disliked Trying to pass of 50p showers like they are doing you a favour by making it so they are more available rather than trying to offset some of the costs of running and maintaining.

Liked A wonderful site! Peaceful, spacious, level, well-maintained, in a lovely rural area.
Spotless toilet/shower block, and all the practicalities are well-organised so it’s a very easy experience staying here.
Village shop a short walk away for essentials.
I enjoyed a combination of relaxing onsite and exploring offsite.
A big thank you to the amazingly helpful owners, especially for the fire-pit hire and the very useful info-sheets about walks/shops/places to eat the area.
Disliked Nothing!
