  • Vintage Airstream Retreat with Stunning Valley Views
  • A 15-minute drive from the Wales Coast Path and Aberporth beach
  • Dark skies site with indoor and outdoor kitchens, firepit and decking
Escape to West Wales for a stay in a charming, vintage Airstream at Tin Can Retreat, with peaceful surroundings, Preseli Hills views and big Carmarthenshire skies. Combine all that with lots of private outdoor space, and this is a superb base for families or couples – and dogs are welcome too. The lovingly updated, 1962 Airstream Tradewind has plenty of contemporary and comfortable touches, such as running hot and cold water, an ensuite bathroom, kitchen (all crockery is provided), Bluetooth speakers and mains electricity, but still retains many of its original features, including a hand-painted mural in the bathroom. Step outside and you have your own private decking area with a firepit, dining area and an outdoor kitchen, just the spot to view some incredible sunsets. Early risers may be treated to a blanket of cloud in the valley, and thanks to the lack of light pollution in these parts, on a clear night you will have undisturbed views of the glittering Milky Way. A word of warning here: the Tin Can Retreat is in a remote location, but it is very sturdy, safe, cosy and warm. Guests should not be alarmed if they are rocked to sleep by the coastal winds. You may well be awoken by the calls of local owls or badgers, and this is all part of the back-to-nature experience offered at this tiny retreat. Secluded the site may be, but it’s also conveniently close to the village of Cenarth, where you can pick up necessities for the campfire at the convenience store, or forgo cooking and head for the pub.
