  • Peaceful site in Llanarth, five minutes’ drive from Cardigan Bay
  • New Quay 10 minutes’ drive; easy access to beaches or coast path
  • Dogs welcome; pub, shop and bus stop within walking distance
A warm west Wales welcome awaits at Llanina Caravan Park, a family-friendly Ceredigion site on the edge of the village of Llanarth, 10 minutes’ drive from New Quay. This peaceful site is a place where you and your other half or family (including the dog, of course) can chill out among far-reaching views of the lush Welsh countryside. It’s also a place that prides itself on keeping the facilities immaculately clean and well maintained – a new toilet/shower block has been installed for the 2026 season and you’ll also have access to a washing-up area, a dog wash and a wifi service (with a strong signal across the park). Each of the hardstanding pitches here is nicely spacious, with a grass area that makes a great spot for an evening barbecue and drinks. Don't fancy cooking? Handily, the village pub is a short walk away, with home-cooked meals and a range of drinks. This site is well placed for all sorts of adventures around the west Wales countryside and coast. A bridle path can be picked up close to the park, taking you out through scenic countryside and eventually to the coastal town of New Quay (a well-known hub for dolphin-spotting, with a good range of places to eat as well – from fish and chip shops to classic pubs or cosy bistros). Venturing further afield should be straightforward as well: a bus stop is an easy five minutes' walk from the park, with services to destinations including Aberaeron, Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Haverfordwest.

Local attractions

There are two sandy beaches a short drive away – take your pick from Cei Bach or Traeth Gwyn (both 5-10 minutes’ drive). Linking the two (and the whole of the rest of the Welsh coastline) is the Wales Coast Path, where you can walk for many miles with the sea in sight. New Quay (10 minutes) has a variety of boat trips, with the daily dolphin-spotting trips a real highlight. Further afield, there are two beaches in Aberystwyth (40 minutes), separated by the Royal Pier, which is home to an arcade, assorted dining options and plenty of alfresco seating. The sights at the top of Constitution Hill can be reached via the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway. There are plenty of inland options too: take a walk around the National Trust's 18th-century mansion at Llanerchaeron (20 minutes), putter along on the Teifi Valley Railway (25 minutes) or see the cosy exhibits at the National Wool Museum (25 minutes).
