At Glan y Môr the action never stops, never slows. Our leisure facilities, and entertainment, are equal to anything to be found on the Mid Wales Coast - come rain or shine. Sheltered Clarach Bay beach is right on our doorstep and, to complement this great outdoor setting, we have created an indoors leisure experience to match. Our club and leisure centre, catering, shops and onsite services mean you never need to leave Glan y Môr. Facilities include a modern health and fitness centre with a large heated free form indoor pool, a well equipped air conditioned cardio-vascular gym (induction required), sauna and spa bath. The Bowling Bar serves meals, soft drink, tea, coffee and a full range of alcoholic beverages. Arcade Machines, pool tables, a large indoor soft play area (height restrictions apply) and resident entertainment staff help keep the kids happy for hours, in our peak season ‘kids’ club’. The fully licensed family club is open at lunchtimes for family activities (high season only) and evening for meals, cabaret and live entertainment. Camping and touring caravan guests are not left out, with dedicated modern facilities, shower and toilet blocks, a laundrette, chemical toilet disposal points and 240 volt hook-ups.

Local attractions

Gentle seaside strolls, rugged mountain hikes, pony trekking and cycling are excellent ways to enjoy this spectacular scenery. With ample opportunities for angling, sailing and golf there's plenty to do for the fit and sporty. The Vale of Rheidol Railway runs for nearly 12 miles from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge. On the hour-long journey passengers have spectacular views of the wooded Rheidol Valley. At Devil's Bridge, there are walks to Mynach Falls, Devil's Punchbowl and Jacob's Ladder. At Devil's Bridge spectacular 300ft waterfalls and three bridges span a breathtaking woodland gorge. The first bridge is reputed to have been built by the Devil, but in reality it was built in 11th century by the monks.
