Campers love the roomy, tidy sites & friendly staff. Hot tubs are a hit! Minor gripes: shower temps, Wi-Fi, tricky pegs. Paid kids' stuff. Still, most want to come back.

Liked Tidy pitch and site was tidy overall
Disliked What attracted me to the site was the soft play, play area and trampoline park for the kids, i didn't realise these where additional costs, trampoline park cost near £30 for an hour session! And soft play was a similar cost for 1.5 hour session, If we had come on a budget with no extra money there would not have been anything for the kids to do

Lovely stay in a lovely area.

Liked Excellent space with the gravel and grass on the larger pitches. Easy to navigate the site. Clean toilets and showers and friendly staff. Quiet on an evening and well lit for those middle of the night bathroom visits.
Disliked The hardstanding gravel is very difficult to drill hardstanding pegs into. We used a drill and still struggled. WiFi was patchy in places but that is to be expected in such a big site.

Liked - Brand new toilet blocks right by our pitch, each pod had a toilet, a shower, heated towel rail and sink. Cleaned twice a day.
- Hot tub was immaculate and maintained twice a day too. And hot, around 38-40 degrees consistently.
- Very large pitches, half hard standing half grass in the newer section - appeared more spacious than the pitches closer to the pub area.
- Softplay and trampoline park on site (chargeable)
- Food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and excellent quality.
- Close to Cei Bach beach and New Quay for days out for dolphin watching etc.
- Morrisons close by for supplies.
- Quiet and peaceful
Disliked - The hard standing is so tough it broke our mallet and we needed to borrow a metal mallet from maintenance- take note if you plan on pitching a tent or awning. You need heavy duty pegs and mallet/ drill.
- We needed additional soft flooring for our tent/ awning space because you can’t pitch on the grass so underfoot is very uncomfortable without shoes - not an issue as I’d researched in advance.
- The park on site is part of the softplay and is fenced in, so can’t be used unless you have a softplay booking (about £6 ish per child). There’s no facilities for children that aren’t payable.
- Nothing is done if your surrounding pitches are antisocial.
- The new toilets are good but block often and they need proper sanitary bins.
- the washing machines are 20p / £1 coins only and are £1 per 30 mins, no card facilities for this.
- Lacked atmosphere at times
- the paddle boarding advertised on TikTok isn’t every week, we left with disappointment children as we were under the impression we could do this on our stay.
