Unpowered grass tent or campervan site (large, family)
Liked: Nice countryside location. Horses in adjacent field. Picnic table next to camper.
Disliked: Appreciate this is a popular area but the price was very steep for limited facilities. No elsan point. Showers and toilets dirty in morning due to number of campers using limited facilities and clearly not enough staff to keep on top of cleaning requirements.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Sorry but it sounds like you meant to book a site with an Elsan point. If you required this it may have been better to contact us before booking as our listing doesn't state we have this facility. Regarding cleanliness, staff clean at frequent intervals during every day especially in the morning and evening and we close the facilities between 10am and 2pm to provide a deep clean. As you can see from our other reviews, our campsite cleanliness is regarded as excellent so I'm sorry your experience was different. A family-sized pitch is very spacious at 10x10m. There are only six of these pitches, you're not boxed in and you have amazing views. Therefore we think our pricing is very reasonable.
Thoughtful staff with clean facilities

LandPod camping pod (four person)
Liked: Booked the LandPod for a birthday, staff were lovely leaving a birthday card and small gift in the pod for us. Was cold the night we stayed so the staff left some spare bedding and pillows in the pod but was warm enough within the pod. Pod itself was really cool, beds were comfy and facilities were a short walk away and were in immaculate condition. Would stay again!

From the manager: Thank you so much ☺️
